Given fees average 15000-20000 dollars a year plus 10000 a year living expenses and you would only be allowed to work 20 hours a week it would be impossible to earn enough to pay the fees.

You will need around 30k CAD.

Min wage in BC is around $10 an hour, so even if you work the full 20 hours a week you will still make only around $ 6,000 over an 8 month academic year. The way you can undertake studies is by finding merit scholarships or seeing if the university can offer you financial aid despite being a foreign national. Alternatively you can take out a loan from an institution in India. (Or have you parents take out a loan and work out some arrangement to pay them back.)

Also keep in mind getting a study permit will be next to impossible with only $2,000. You will need to show enough money to cover your first year expenses, and you can't say you will work to make ends meet. Therefore be it through loans, scholarships, or financial aid you need to show you have $30,000.

Later on you can always work and use the ~$6,000 you make to pay of your loans.

As others have said - no, you certainly will not be able to make the rest of the money working in Canada. It's simply not possible.

Also, to be approved for a study permit, you will need to show that you have enough money to cover first year tuition and living expenses. This means that you will need to show that you or your parents have a bank balance of at least $25,000 just to be approved for the study permit. Without this bank balance, the study permit will be refused.
