Hello everyone,

I am a Moroccan engineer (Civil engineer working in the field of railways infrastructure) and i’m very interested to come and live in Canada. In that case I want to know the procedure to follow and if i have or not to start from beginning my engineering studies (I heard that some Moroccan degree are unrecognized in Canada). Also is there a possibility to study and work at the same time. Thank you very much for your help :) (I’m very sorry for my bad English since I am French-speaking).

Information about Canada's immigration programs can be found in the link below (I have provided the link to the information in French). You'll need to research the programs to determine the best way for you to apply.

Once you are a PR - you can certainly study and work at the same time.

If you want to study and work in Canada before you become a PR, then you will need a study permit. To be approved for a study permit you will need to show that you have at least $25K in funds to pay for your studies in Canada.

You may have an advantage because you speak French, and there are many programs that favor francophones, but it's up to you to do your own research. Civil engineering is almost certainly regulated in all provinces.
