This is my query related to POF.

As gift deed might be fine and depends on the discretion of the VO, hence to remain totally safe I thought of highlighting 3000 CAD out of my 12300 CAD as a FD which will be transferred from my mother's account approximately 1+ month before me getting my ITA. So my questions are-

1. If I opened my bank account one month prior to getting ita in this bank where I ll be keeping FD, will it be okay?

2. For this 3000 CAD, If I show my FD receipt, a letter from bank clarifying liquidity, notarized gift deed, bank statement showing the transfer from her account to mine, and LOE explaining the process, DO you think it will be 100% okay ? Or I need to change or add something?

3. I ll show the remaining 9500 CAD as FD in a financial institution (its not bank but a finance company) and it was kept 1 year back in my name. So, will it be okay if I show the FD receipt and bank letter only for this amount?

1. You have to meet the 6 months average balance requirement. Even if you open a FD, you do not meet the 6 months requirement. Therefore the gift deed is a better option and it is not the discretion of the VO.

2. If you combine all there, you will be fine.

3. As long as you can readily liquidate the funds, and have the letter in the IRCC prescribed format, you will be fine.

Firstly, Many thanks Manmeet for all your help thus far in helping many souls like us accomplishing PPR.

Quick question: Do you know what happens after PPR till the visa stamping/endorsement? The reason being, it's now taking a minimum of 20 or sometimes even 30 days to get the COPR- almost all LVOs report out this turnaround time.

Has this COPR phenomenon now supplanted the 'golden PPR email'? Welcome your thoughts. Thanks again.

The delay is the turnaround is LVO specific. Larger VOs have a longer turn around time. It also depends on the time of the year and the number of PPRs issued. But I won't be much concerned about it.

The MyCIC statues does not reflect at what stage your application is at. The most important stages of an application are R10, and eligibility.

To know what is happening you should rely on GCMS or wait it out.

As regards the time, each application is different and there can be no prediction. However, what matters is whether you have passed the critical stages of the application.

You can request, but I highly doubt it.

Hi Legal falcon, I received my GCMS notes today. I was reading through the notes, and I found that the agent is not recognizing three of my work experiences because the letters are not dated. Hence, unable to verify declare work period. This has decreased my CRS score below the threshold of my draw. I have reviewed the letters I submitted again, and they include everything they asked for in the website (letters being dated is not mentioned). I submitted me APR on September 12th, and the note I'm talking about is created on October, 3rd. And the most recent note there is on October 17th, and it's about receiving documents they requested from me.

What should I do? Should I ask my previous employers for new dated letters and submit them? Should I submit copies of the my emails during that period?

Usually the gift deed is made prior to the donee accepting it. So when the money is transferred, that is the time when the gift deed can be made.
Yes, the gift deed, LOE and FD are sufficient.
