This could be a classic case of over-reading the forums clouding my judgement but..

I have seen on here people mentioning that for their schedule A (IMM5669) they are inputting all their vacations etc. I am just doing my schedule A now as it was requested last week and i dont see where people would put this? In the personal history section? Do i really need to put every vacation i have taken in the last 10 years..like when i went to Amsterdam for a few days, Spain for a week with the girls etc? Even though i had a job at that time and just had taken time off.

The way i am reading the question it seems i would only need to put in my situation now (In Canada not working due to no work permit) and employment details and as long as there are no gaps anywhere (which there aren't...i have never been unemployed even for a month..until i came to Canada).

I know tons of people ask about this form, but i think thats whats confused me! I read the guide on and still didnt really know.

I think you should only include your main activity, like work or studying or being unemployed and short vacations shouldn't be included into this form as you didn't have a residential address at those places where you went to visit and you still remained employment at your work place. There's a form "travel history" which is requested by certain countries specific requirements and I believe that all those trips should be included into that form (if that form was requested by your country's specific requirements ) and in my opinion those trips shouldn't go under your "personal history". But say if you moved to a certain country and obtained a residential address there then it should be mentioned under your personal history as well as in your address history.

There are people on this forum who would advise to include every single trip and vacation or who chose to do this themselves. It's my strong belief this is not required. There is a separate Travel History form for people from some countries where you do need to list every single trip, but the Schedule A is meant to reflect where you have lived and what you have been doing (working/studying/unemployed/etc), not the short vacations you have taken. Travel should be included if, for example, you quit your job and traveled for a year because that was your primary activity. But unless that is the case, really you only need to list where you were actually living and what you were actually up to from a residential perspective (where you received mail) and not short trips away.

Thank you both @KBH and @Ukrainian girl - i was indeed getting mixed up with the travel history form which i dont need to do! Thank for re-jogging my brain!

Another question on the schedule A as i want to upload the forms today..

@Oldmacwright Maybe you can help here?

Where it asks have i ever been refused a visitor visa? I have been refused an extension to my visitor status/record (which i now have a restoration of status application in for) - do i say yes or no to this? Its not technically a visa i've been refused but still a refusal none the less.

Also where it asks if i have ever been ordered to leave Canada.. I wasn't issued a removal order with my visitor status refusal.. So i would say no here right?

Err on the side of caution and say yes (re: the refusal). Last thing you want is to answer no and them to deem it misrepresentation. They can see all that in their system anyway so you won’t be telling them anything they don’t already know

You would answer no to the ordered question i think

Thanks KBH.. This is what I was thinking I should do. Kind of. Sort of. Probably. :p

Sorry only just checking the forum, but yes we did what KBH said, yes to the refusal with some brief details (they will know this anyway) and no about being ordered to leave.
