Likely no. Because most everyone on this board followed the rules and didn't lie on their applications.
I'm not asking about committing fraud, I'm asking about information. Please don't make assumptions and accusations, and read into things, and provide advice without first hand experience about the question at hand.

There are many threads on the forum in regards to applicants being charged with misrepresentation. This arises from withholding information such as US visa refusals, working illegally and even hiding that they overstayed.

Once they have received a letter called procedural fairness letter, it's most likely CIC is going to refuse your application and slap you with 5 years ban from entering into Canada.

There is no successful stories about applicants that overcame this. So even if you can hide facts from CIC, they can still come after you regardless you have PR or even citizenship.

Also I like to point out being charged with misrepresentation is definitely gona affect your chances with other countries immigration as well.

They didn't assume anything. I suggest you read your previous posts. You asked "What if I don't mention the overstay?" That is asking about committing fraud.
