Hello,

I am currently updating the Travel History section of the profile and I am a bit confused. I am not sure how to mention the vacation trips I took during my studies. It asks to provide details of any trips I have taken outside my country of origin or of residence in the last ten years. I am a permanent resident of India but when I was studying in the US, I stayed here for more than 12 months each time.

For ex: My study period was from 25th August 2007 until 14th Jan 2010 but I took a 2 week trip to India during that time in March of 2008.

Now, in the travel history section, It asks the duration of the trip, country and purpose. I am confused if they want me to write 3 different entries for that study period as below :

25th August 2007 - 01 March 2008 - USA - Studies
02 March 2008 - 16th March 2008 - India - Tourist
17th March 2008 - 14th Jan 2010 - USA - Studies

Or should I first mention all the study trips outside India and then mention the shorter vacations afterwards and hope that they understand what I am trying to say.

Please advise.

Are you an Indian citizen or an OCI/PIO?

Assuming you are an Indian citizen:
- If you're living in the US currently and are a citizen of India then you don't need to enter travel details between USA and India.
- If you're not currently living in the US then you need to enter all travel details between USA and India.

I am an Indian citizen currently on F1 visa. I did travel to Dubai recently for a week while coming back from India. I should probably mention that, right?
