Hello, a couple of principal applicants have received AOR emails with subject "Enhanced AOR for Back Office". Could others check the AOR1 emails sent to PAs and see if the emails they received had this subject line or not? Thanks! It'll be good to figure out what this means, even if only for future applicants.

Hi there, just checked mine and it did not state this in the subject line. Received it on Sept 22, 2017 and my application is being processed at Mississauga VO (OB570 stream).

Cheers @KBH. It's all the more informative to hear from someone from the OB570 stream. I was wondering if it could have something to do with it but seems unlikely now (not just going by your case; a few others have said they got the "enhanced AOR" email but their files seem to be at their regular VOs). I'm not from a visa-exempt country so I didn't think OB570 was likely to begin with but my partner and I have been married for 7 years so wondered if it was something like a "least red flags" type of a category. Hopefully we'll know more once others chime in. Thanks again.

OB570 stream is based on individual case, not the country origin of the applicant. I am not from a visa-exempt country, but my case has been confirmed to be processed by CPC-Mississauga. My wife and I married for 6 years, with 2 kids, and this is our second marriage for both of us. No kids from previous marriage though.

OB570 is weird because even though we have now seen the operational bulletin describing the initiative, they omitted the actual triage criteria that determines whether or not your application is eligible for it, so nobody really knows what the criteria are. The bulletin does state that it applies to "straightforward" cases. You could have a very straightforward case but, if your application does not meet every single criteria on the list, it cannot be OB570 streamed (the bulletin stated that every single bullet on the triage checklist must be met). So while I'm sure that no red flags is certainly a good indicator that your app might be eligible for OB570, something tells me they have a lot of different criteria on the triage checklist that may or may not relate to that.

I (PA) got one of these last week. I had also received a regular AOR (to sponsors email) a few days before.

I posted about it in the september and october threads. Someone replied and said that they had had this type of AOR in May/June but hadnt noticed that the wording was like that until i posted and they checked. They as yet have not been asked for any "missing" documents/forms.

I still dont know whether i was missing actual documents/forms or what they were referring to was my schedule A/PCC. Whatever it was i am just going to wait it out and see if they ask for anything more. Nothing else i can do.

Ah interesting! I'd a read a couple of discussions here about this stream while looking for something else a few months ago and the speculation (since the criteria was redacted) was that one might need to be from visa-exempt countries. Good to hear that's not the case. And if memory serves, the document checklist only deems first marriages (along with other criteria) to forgo having to furnish proof, so your case must be driving people trying to make sense of it crazy!

Were you able to successfully link your application and get your Sched A + PCC request through the account?
If so, and no additional doc request popped up, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Yup. Linked and got my SchA/PCC request this morning. Havent uploaded them yet as i dont have my canadian PCC.

I surprisingly havent been worrying about it because i go the AORs, if they want something they'll ask for it online now, rather than me finding a returned app in my mailbox!

Yeah, I remember reading about that. I simply assumed I wouldn't even qualify because I'm not from a visa-exempt country but @Miraclejj's case disproves that assumption. I was merely thinking (hoping!) this "enhanced AOR" could signify a newer (non-OB570) way of categorizing some applications that have fewer flags. But I certainly agree with you that the triage checklist must have other more nuanced criteria.

Unrelated, but unless they actually ask you for an RCMP check specifically, you do not need to submit a Canadian police cert. See here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=037&top=4

I only noticed the "enhanced AOR" bit in mine after reading your post :D I don't know about yours but the subject in my email was like two lines long, so I'd have never noticed. I mean, look at this:
"Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada - Communication to client/Immigration, Réfugiés et Citoyenneté Canada - Communication auprès de la clientèle - CPCM / CTDM - Enhanced AOR for Back Office".

Anyway, I replied to yours or someone's post in that thread that I doubt it has anything to do with actually missing documents because the very first line in the AOR is that it's an automated message. Based on CIC software used in other areas of processing, I find it very unlikely that it's sophisticated enough to let the people going through applications to send "automated" receipt messages but still allowing them to have some control over other parts of the message to indicate specific concerns. I think they just mean the police certs, medical reports and such.

Yeah my subject was like that too.

Maybe just a new way of letting people know that a request for something will be coming...not everyone is as smart and savvy as us forumers!

Yeah i know but they did specifically request one from me.. I need to go get my canadian one applied for tomorrow..

Quote from my request letter this morning;

"At this time, you need to provide a police certificate for: 1) The country where you currently live, if you have lived there for six months or more; and 2) The country where you have spent most of your adult life since the age of 18. One for each country in which you have resided for 6 months or more (originals) You must also provide this for every family member (whether accompanying you to Canada or not) who is aged 18 or older. Please refer to your application guide for a definition of “family member”. This must be received at this office by: 2018/01/14"

Sorry, I should have been more clear. What you copied and pasted there is the generic message that every single person receives about their police certificates. If you are required to submit one for Canada, they will not request it until later in the process, and you will receive a letter specifically requesting fingerprints/RCMP check, by name. You do not need to submit one up front.
