Hey everyone, just an update...GCKey changed to "We are processing your background check" I believe today, we didn't check yesterday. Timeline is in signature.

This all seems quick, I know we're in for the longest stage now though but given how slow I've heard Vienna VO is I'm surprised...

in your signature it says you got the med request, have you already submitted the medical or not done yet?

Thank you! I should update that... medical was done on Nov 29 and passed 6 December, so yesterday is when the update appeared in GCkey and ECAS.

thank you! I'm not sure...from looking at the spreadsheet it seems like it but we have a small sample size so it's very much possible I'm not

You and I have a similar thing happening. I'm a September 1 applicant and yesterday my ECAS changed to "We started processing you application on Dec. 6" and my background check changed to "We are processing your background check".. seems weirdly fast, so naturally I assume that there's something wrong haha.
Good luck, it will be interesting to see how this progresses. I'm Mexico VO, what's yours?

Canadian2002, have you run into any posts that talk about what the background check entails? Why is the process so long? What do they look for exactly? Is it going through all our photos and letters?

The bgc is very in depth Into things like where youve lived worked went to school. The intelligence agency, interpol, police etc are all involved. I believe they even check the pa’s relatives.

Hi everyone
I am about to upload pcc, sch A and digital photo
My question is sch A form is in pdf already will upload it as it is. Now the photos i have and pcc are in hardcopy form so i am thinking i'll scan them and then will upload the image where they are asking for pcc and photo would that be correct ?
If pcc and photo are not pdf file the way i mentioned would still be okay right?
