Hi All,
I know this thread is for NSNP 2015, but as I am very new to this forum and found this thread related to Nova Scotia , thus poting my query/concern here. Kindly forgive me but as I'm a little worried thus seeking help/opinion from all possible sources.

Under NSNP 2017, I received ITA from CIC on 22 AUG and applied for PR on 28 Aug 2017 but so far no response from CIC. As per my understanding it takes 2-3 months to get "Ready For Visa" mail from CIC. However 3 months are over but no such mail is received from CIC.

I'm a little worried. Is anyone on same boat , then kindly let me know if it's alarming that I didn't hear back from CIC even after 3 months.
Hello Drupad,

In the current trend, the processing time is 6 months from the time you apply for PR. You need not be worried. You can see my timeline below. I am waiting for more than 6 months now. I'm also a NS provincial nominee.

Hope it helps.

Thanks
Guru

Hai,

No need to worry its same for us too...You have to wait for 6 months to get PPR..some time more than that as for me it took nearly 7 months to get PPR. I submitted my PR on 2nd May and got PPR on 27th Nov....some of my colleagues are still waiting to get PPR.

Do you know your Visa office?? If your VO is NDVO some times you will get it early....
Have you passed ur medical??

As due to rejection of study visa they wont cause you any pblm...you are in safe side...dont worry...everything will be fine...

good day everyone!
im a silent reader of this thread and just created an accnt just to say thanks to everyone here for sharing there experiences.

this is mine:
PPR after 237 days (crazy waiting days)

though we are the same (NSNP), i think our applications are assessed differently. we came from different countries, different job experiences, different places we visit, etc., hence the different dates of approval.

im talking none sense. lol.

dont lose hope and dont compare your timeline to others so that you dont get frustrated.

good luck to everyone waiting for something and congrats to all who got IT.

regards,

Hi Drupad,

It’s normal to be anxious because waiting for something that we really desire can sometimes be frustrating. I am waiting for 6 months and 7 days now for my PPR and also other members here in the forum are in the same scenario as ours. Let’s just hope and keep our faith high. God bless to us all. We will get our PPR soon.

I got my first update that told my that my medical passed after 1 month of applying. There is no more updates until my PPR. Don't worry, it's normal. It took me about 5 months to get my PPR. Some people even have to wait longer.

If you want, you can always call CIC to ask about your application or order a GCMS note.

Cheers

Thank you so much for encouraging words SDKD !
No I don't know my Visa office.
Yes, I have passed my medical.
The only thing i was worried about is my student Visa rejection.
I sincerely wish, you also get your PR soon !

Just one thing: In case of PNP , the eligibility has already been determined by the provincial government bodies and that's how we get nominated by province, then what CIC would determine in under section "Determining Eligibility .."; because in my CIC account it's showing "Determining your eligibility"..
