Hi,

See answers in red.
HI Tanaka Boss

Just needed one help. My wife has an Uncle in Canada but based on discussion it seems to be a big hassle to gather all the documents to prove the relationship. Therefore what do you suggest shall I remove it from the EE profile and provide a letter of explanation later.

Thanks

My wife has school certificate from karachi board, Is there anyway that we can get WES without her school certificate OR we can get her certificate attested without visiting karachi.
We live in Lahore.
If you have a bachelors or above degree, just send that to WES to get assessed. That is what i did. No need to get the secondary school degrees assessed.

However if high scool is the highest degree ( in secondary applicants case) then you need to get it assessed.
Best of luck.

although the question is for Tanaka but I hope you don't mind me answering.

You only can get CRS points for relatives if you or your spouse or common law partner (if they will come with you to Canada) have at least one brother or sister living in Canada who is a citizen or permanent resident.
Note: The brother or sister must be:
  • 18 years old or older
  • related to you or your partner by blood, marriage, common-law partnership or adoption
  • have a parent in common with you or your partner
A brother or sister is related to you by:
  • blood (biological)
  • adoption
  • marriage (step-brother or step-sister)
As you can see "Uncle" does not fit to the above conditions so you will not get any CRS points for this. Now you can remove him from your EE profile but there is problem for that. If you have claimed adaptability points towards the eligibility 67 points then removing your uncle from EE will make you ineligible for Express Entry if your collective points fall below 67 out of 100. So make sure you score 67 on six selection factors first before removing your uncle from your profile. You can check your eligibility points using "come to Canada tool"- https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/come-canada-tool-immigration-express-entry.html
Hope it helps.

Though question is for Tanaka.

Based on my knowledge and recent changes only if you or your wife have siblings then you will get points for it.

So no point in going for this as this will not reward u with any points.

Waiting for Tanaka to shed some light.

Good day everyone. I am new to this forum. I am at 425 (CRS). My next birthday is in March, after which I would loose 5 points if I haven't received ITA.

Now my questions:
1. I've been in business since 2010, even while I worked at the bank. I left my bank job in 2015. The chances of getting a ref letter from my previous employer is almost impossible. Would my employment letter and letter of resignation suffice as evidence of employment or do I just use my company for job experience?

2. What are the documents that I would be required to submit as a self employed entrepreneur?

I would really appreciate if anyone with experience could help me answer these.

If I have mentioned 20000$, but if I take with me 17000$ (again it is above the minimum requirement), will that be fine? Or a problem?
Moreover, having this money in savings account is mandatory right while travelling to Canada?
*but if I take with me 17000$ *... dont worry... anything above 12300 CAD$ should be OK :)

It is mandatory that you have unrestricted access to the funds, yes. It cannot be in a Fixed deposit/House/retirement fund etc... Has to be liquid like you said in Savings account is preferable.

Let's say I got ITA today. And if I go for PCC tomorrow (which will be issues the same day). So the validity remains for 6 months from tomorrow. But I submit all documents and PCC to ircc after 2 months starting today. So my PCC has 4 months remaining for ircc to verify. If they take time in verification and takes more than 4 months, when PCC is already expired. Will that be a problem? What steps to take in this?
I also have the same question.

Actually it will not hamper the 67 points calculation I believe as I have CLB 9 English Masters Degree and Age 30 with 2 to 3 years experience

But I really appreciate your comprehensive reply

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/become-candidate/eligibility/federal-skilled-workers/six-selection-factors-federal-skilled-workers.html

As per this education is 23 English 24 age is 12 and experience is 11 so in total without relative it is 70

Adding relative will only upgrade it to 75 so I don't believe it should be a problem
