Hey guys,

Hope you are well. I have a very good feeling about this week. An ITA storm is brewing. Get ready;).
:) As long as it is a storm with treasured results! it feels rather ominous otherwise.

Please Wait for ITA to get the medicals done.
What about PCC ? can that be done before getting ITA? As I have the validity of PCC is 6months.
Further, I stay in a rented apartment. Is the rent agreement necessary for PCC? Or if I have a bank account with the same address (agreement going to expire in Nov end), will that suffice? Is there any online portal for PCC or need to go to police station. What are the details required?

What about PoF? Actually I am expecting my ITA in the next draw or in December. Post ITA I need to submit documents. At the same time only, that is while submitting documents I need to show proof of funds?
If yes, currently I am having a fixed deposit(FD) in my name. But that FD is going to mature in February and that will be deposited into my salary account (which is my salary account but I have added my mother as a joint account holder). Will that be a problem to show in proof of funds as she is a joint account holder?

Hello everyone, I had a quick question on filling EOI form. The below is my scenario:

I started working with an Employer in Feb-2010 and worked there till June 2012.

In June 2012, I wanted to pursue higher education(Masters) and availed Leave Without Pay (A kind of leave where you are on the rolls of the company but do not receive salary every month. I was NOT obligated to join the company back).

I completed my Masters in May 2014 and then submitted my resignation with the employer as i had a better offer.

Post my resignation, my employer gave me a service certificate and relieving letter stating my Joining date as Feb 2010 and Last date as May 2014. It also mentioned that I was on leave for ~650 days (between June 2012 and May 2014)

Now the Question: What should be my last date with the employer be when i am filling the EOI form (Is it June 2012 or May 2014)?

Your help will be much appreciated. Thank you!!!:)

Your work experience must be:
  • paid work (volunteer work, unpaid internships don’t count)
  • at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2016 National Occupational Classification (NOC)
  • at least 1 year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week), continuous
EE candidates can claim maximum 3 years of experience. You said you had better job offer, so I assume you are currently working there. If you have already completed 3 years of experience at your current job then my suggestion is unless you claim Eligibility points for more than 3 years then ignore this. You can mention this under personal history rather than in work history. But if you have to claim points from this job for eligibility 67 points then you can only claim until June 2012 because rest of the work experience was not paid. Even though technically you had the job but you were not working (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week required) and not getting paid during your leave period.
Hope this helps.

Hello everyone!

So pleased to read whole 5 pages, hopes, believable people and nice discussion for clear questions, wow, great day today!
I'm done with all my PCCs today and now will wait my medicals, after that I may submit my application! And I'm thankful my big brother @TanakaM for helping all of us, and hope to see everyone here in Canada very soon. AOR is coming ;)
Good luck to those who are waiting this week's draw, stay positive and hopeful! You will be awarded a chance sometime very soon, please be careful with your application, do not use incorrect details or something that you don't have, otherwise this may lead up to 5 years ban as per Canadian immigration regulations.
And also, all the best to those who are doing post-ITA, hope to see some candidates being approved very soon after AOR :)

Finally, where is my little brother @Karnesh, get ready for the party of this week, without a DJ no party for us :D:D:D
Yes Papa. We’ll have bumper draw this Wednesday with 3500+ ITA’s :):)

Unless your mother accompanies you, you cannot furnish joint account in POF. FD with the sufficient amount is enough.

Are you a biologist? I could send you the links for the positions that are open. Here and here. As I said very useful!
Congratulations on your position and your journey does radiate positivity. I am a ph.d in physics with a tad less than 3yr teaching exp. plz do keep me also in mind if you come across relevant faculty positions :) after reading your exp, I feel it's not that difficult (as people say) to find a job in Canada before being there physically.
All the best for your journey

Hello seniors,
Quick question
1) what do you think this time crs point will close at?....... just an estimate based on experience.
2) and i am having difficulty in understanding the experience thing. I worked at one company for 6 months and then was not working for a month and half and then worked for other company for 10 months will this be counted as 1 year experience??

Thanks
