PR Approved but Work Permit has expired

Hello all,

I've been living in Canada since 2012 and I have a full time job.

My PR application has been approved recently and today I received my passport from CPC-Ottowa long with a VISA and a confirmation of permanent residence paper.

Unfortunately, I just realized that my work permit has expired last month.

Am I in trouble right now? What are my options?
What do I need to do right now?

Please kindly advise.

If you wait a long time, then it might cause issues. Just head for the nearest border and 'flagpole' as suggested and you will be fine.
