Hi Sir

I have some queries will be grateful if you would answer.

1.Bill C-6 says that we don't have to stay for 3yrs without any break or there is no time limit of to be physically present 183 days, can you give some idea about that rule.

2. Also is it good to show more money when you land even though you don't have the amount now but will be bringing later on such as: Land Money after selling a year later, or should I not declare it now?

3.To apply for super visa what are the minimum requirement and how fast can one apply?

Regards
New123

1. The Bill is now and Act and states that the Required physical presence in Canada is now reduced to 3 out of 5 year. Further, applicants no longer have to be physically present in Canada for 183 consecutive days in four out of the six years preceding their application, so they can now travel for things such as work or education.

2. For the PoF showing more money that the minimum required is of no significance. The reason to ask for PoF when you land as a PR is to ensure that the funds are available with you.

3. Supervise can be applied at anytime as long as your meet the eligibility requirements. See http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/supervisa-who.asp

Hello @legalfalcon , It is urgent please. I got the PPR email:

They ask me to submit the passports and photos to VO islamabad, Pakistan. I have already submitted CSE on 13/11 for change of address from Pakistan to Canada but never got a response of it. PPR email states: Should any of the following circumstances (change of address) apply to you (or any person included in your application), you must inform this office immediately

Secondly, the PPR email also states that "if you and all the accompanying dependents on your application are currently in Canada and plan to be in Canada for at least three months, you may submit your passport(s) to the Case Processing Centre – Ottawa (“CPC-O”)"

So what should I do in this case? Should I just send to Ottawa then with or without letter of explanation? or inform any one? call them?

I am waiting for your answer. Thank you

Usman
You can submit your PP to CPC-O, but before that raise a CSE and call them so that they can make a note on your file.

Dear sir,
My gcms notes arrived yesterday. It shows security screening. There is one more thing in my file which other people in SS claims they dont have. Its written that my screening information sent to cbsa on 2nd oct and then on 11th oct. What does that mean? Can u please help.

Thanks and regards,
This shows that you app has landed in security screening and the information which was generated by IRCC and CSIS has been transferred to CBSA.

@legalfalcon Hi, I want to refer specifically to your statement in bold. It is a fact that some (most?) GCMS notes do not show the subactivity security screening. One example is of senior member @rajkamalmohanram who received GCMS after his PPR and he didn't have such sub-activity in admissibilities nor any security screening activity in activities section. Can you please elaborate on that? As someone who is in SS, hope is all we've got.
I cannot voice for what someone else had or not without looking at his GCMS notes. I can only state about my notes and those that I have reviewed.

Dear legal falcon , I completed six months and got a mail from CPC Ottawa that my file in under review and requires further verification. BG is NA . What could be the reason for additional verifications
It depends on what stage your application is at. If it has passed eligibility, and security is the only thing remaining then additional verifications is the work CSIS and CBSA has to do. But to know, you will need your GCMS notes.

Also, the 6 months start from the day when you R10 is passed and not when you file your application.

Hi @legalfalcon i have a rather peculiar problem............I have all the evidences of my employment with me, i.e , appointment letter.........complete salary history from the organization.....appraisal letters of 2 years.........but the problem is that the employer's policy doesnot allow experience/reference letters to pronounce the job duties so the reference letter has all the required information except the job duties...........and my appointment letter too doesnot state my job duties. (although my appraisal letters have my targets and performance grading which somehow suggest my job duties but not in detail, maximum a word or two , in order to grade my performance)
the job duties are mentioned on the employee management system that is on the internet.
I am thinking of getting an additional reference letter from my colleague who still works there......will it work? .... what are the requirements for such a letter? should it be on a stamped paper? and what should be mentioned in the letter?

thank you
You can get a letter from your colleague on a plain white paper and get it notarized. You can then attach all the documents together and explain it in LoE.

Hi @legalfalcon ,

I applied on 08-OCT-2017 for LMIA-exempted WP as FSW-O from Italy (I am originally from Pakistan). my application is currently in IP2 phase. Normal Processing time of VO-Rome is 4 weeks, instead exceeded 7 weeks, I inquired embassy yesterday and they responded today as below in BLUE:

We estimate that the review of this file may exceed the average processing timeframe set out on our website. Often, delays in the processing of an application are out of our control as some processing steps require coordination with external authorities.

Delays in the processing of visa applications are always disappointing to all concerned, but rest assured that all efforts are being made to ensure efficient and expeditious processing of all visa applications.

Our office will contact you as soon as the review is completed, or as soon as more information, documents or an interview are required.

Do you think, they have initiated SS for my WP application, as normally SS is done on PR or PNP applications. I hope they not initiated SS, besides external authorities can be embassy of my home-country, not always CSIS. what you think?

Do CIC involve CSIS in all BCG phases or only when SS required? I mean is it normal that they involve external authorities in every application or just in case of SS?

Should I go for GCMS or wait a bit more?

Kindly advise. I am so much worried, as have to commence post-doc in Jan-2018, and to do pre-arrival arrangements as well.

For WP there is no SS. However, at the discretion of IRCC, they can send files to CBSA and CSIS for review. Since the turnaround time for WP is fast, there is no hold over on WP application.

GCMS will definitely give you an insight, no harm in ordering it.

Thanks, I am waiting since 40 days to receive the Gcms notes, I ordered through getgcms. In my previous Gcms notes the analyst mentioned my POF is less than what is required but as per my bank statement it’s clearly more and mentioned as review required . I will wait for Gcms notes first , I hope I get it soon

Thanks, that's what kept me surprised as I knew from your previous posts, that for WP there's no SS. Well, I just ordered yesterday GCMS notes through getgcms :)

I submitted on 08-OCT-2017, besides 4 weeks standard processing time, till now status is IP2.

I am on verge of preoccupation having short span of plan to organize pre-arrival arrangements and Postdoc would be initiated on 04-Jan-18, besides employer as well compelling me to commence on-time. I already emailed embassy (VO Rome) yet no response from them (stuck in IP2).

Well the above email, I google and found, it's a kind of standard feedback template, they VOs usually use when u raise CSE directed to specific VO. I hope by this message, I can't conclude that my WP is under SS, besides GCMS would give exact insigths, and above all VO seems sluggish.

I hope to receive acceptance response prior to even GCMS.

Thanks again!

One more thing:

Initially, when I appeared at VFS office to perform Biometrics, I could track the status on VFSGlobal site, since last week, there's 'no record found' status, which raising my suspicions, may be they have some database issue. what you think?

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
You can submit your PP to CPC-O, but before that raise a CSE and call them so that they can make a note on your file.
I already raised the CSE through web form about change in address on 13/11 and got a response "We verified the information you provided and have forwarded it to the responsible office"

I just called CIC but the address is not updated yet. It's the old one from Pakistan. The agent advised me to send the passports to Ottawa with the letter of explanation with everything you submitted and received.

now do I need to email CPC-Ottawa also? I hope my telephonic conversation record would be there.
