Really sorry to hear this. It shouldn’t take this long even according to a retired immigration officer.
Their website also says that applications are processed in order in which they received. Means first come first serve but that is not true. Their inconsistency is mind boggling

Not a single bit true.

Very unfair treatment. I hope we can all reunite with our love ones soon. Can't wait for this to be over and never deal with them again

The cic website shows the difference between the old application and new and in the new it says medical and bgc requested later in the process. However this doesn’t seem to be the case.
Im under the new application. All that stuff is requested at the beginning. March 1 applicant. Either way its frustrating and there is no consistency anywhere

Extremely frustrated with Canada immigration. They are mentally torturing us. 18 months have passed since we submitted our application, outland sponsorship should not take this long. Our baby was born and walking now during this time. No communication nothing is moving forward. BC in progress since July
Very sorry to hear of this. What steps have you taken to determine the issue with the delay?

We contacted them several times even through our local MP but all response are the same. "In process". They say by February we will hear from them and no more contact from us before that

I would say by January hopefully you will get PPR. We applied at the same time and my hubby's medical expired last May he hasn't been asked to redo as of yet. Wich will cause more delay and more frustration for us
