Come ooo... leave everything once you enter Canada you can always go back home to arrange whatever u left behind properly ... just come before dec e20th so the visa and your PR is valid...

I don' trust avo... they ask as if they are giving you an option when really they are not... so the members who aren' too sure if you can travel or not make sure to find out your not forfitting your PR ooo

@cutie, I don't think the AVO office can say someone is forfeiting PPR because one cannot travel within their time frame. Just imagine my wife having an 18 month child to pack and go within 3 weeks that too hush..............

They send us a free invitation for pre-arrival this morning and I am thinking they might extend our medical

I SAID even if AVO came across the refusal they will still ask him to correct the page it happened to a friend of mine he was refused TRV and later in spousal sponsorship the section for if you been refused before ... he said no because it totally skipped his mind. But AVo send back the form for him to make corrections they still issued PR

So my comment was only stating he could have waited because they do review the package before decision is made therefore possible the avo actually missed that step prior to asking for passport

So let's not get all excited 've dealt with spousal sponsorships numerous times

I just wanted to be on the safe side by acknowledging the mistake on time and not to take chances at all

Usually when they come across you been refused at another country they will give u a letter to correct and update schedule A

But if they didn't ask you to do so you leave it...

That was an error not misrepresentation. Misrepresentation is much serious but as long as you have corrected it atleast your honesty correcting after the fact shows good faith so no worries it will not affect the DM.. you already got the letter that said you got PR and passport sent already so rest easy..

My wife already booked appointment on monday with her MP ... I'm just trying to cover all angles here

Between the hard copy of the correction schedule A form i sent is still delayed by DHL and they said it will get to AVO by monday ... Should i stop it since I've already sent a soft copy via email??

@larrykay, like Cutie advice you please don't complicate things for yourself, I suggest you stop it if it's not too late asap

Did you receive the letter for PR once decision is made it looks like this below. I got this from @babajydo letter today read the section of where they cannot be extend it under any circumstances. So I was only suggesting that if you have arranged with AVO that you will redo your medical and passport and they have agreed you have no problem
But.... If you have not sorted it out and they have send you a letter like this read the section of ***please note***

So carefully read the bottom part of the letter posted today for PPR applicant

The visa(s) will be valid until the expiry of your medical results(2017/12/20) or until the expiry of your passports, whichever is earliest. As the validity of your visa(s) has been already established and is limited to a fixed date, it CANNOT be extended under any circumstances. We therefore urge you to read and follow carefully the instructions outlined in this letter without delay.



PHOTOGRAPHS



You must also provide two passport photos for every person receiving a visa on your application. Photograph specifications can be found at: www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445EB-e.pdf. Print the specifications and bring them with you to a commercial photographer. A visa will not be issued if your photo does not match the specifications listed in the link above.

Failure to provide the required travel document(s) within 15 days from the date of this letter will lead us to conclude that you are no longer interested in immigrating to Canada and your application will be refused based on the information that is available in your file. Not everyone gets a chance to prove themselves, and AVO is tired of hearing the excuse of forgetfulness, when the proof is staring at them.

I can confidently say it is a FACT because I processes his application 2013 and he came to Canada 2014 application actually took 4 months he got PR I wasn't trying to mislead our friend here on the forum.

@Cutie101 and @bbccanada, everyone's letter and situation may vary slightly. The text about forfeiting and having to re-apply is standard whether they give you 7, 15 or 30 days to respond. That said, it is prudent to email and ask for concession in writing from AVO @bbcanada explaining why the timeframe will be difficult to meet for you. AVO has made exceptions for people and they are reasonable about such requests; after waiting all this time for them the least they can do is consider it. We ended submitting our final doc after 23 days even though our letter said 15 days, but we got reassurance from them first that it was ok if we didn't get it before the 15 days.

actually someone in this thread or another has been rejected as misrepresentation for not selecting that they have been refused a visa in another country before. I'm sitting here wondering what I would do in your situation @larrykay247. I would probably have done the same thing than wait for them to refuse me first then I say, "oh xyz ..." It's probably best they have it 'cos this is not one of those optional docs/pieces of info and if they find out after that your lied on your immigration forms, they could try to take it from you (There are cases where dependents were sponsored while married and didn't report it as such and Canada tries to take the PR from them years later as they were ineligible at the time they received it).

Also, in some of our cases, our background check is still showing as in progress even though we have been asked to submit our passports, so you can never really be sure when they will come across it. At the end of the day, if it makes you sleep better at night, then you should be content with one less thing to fret and wonder about.

YES I have am June 15 applicant ...now waiting game for ppr. It will come all will need is more patient to hold till end. It us well house.

So far tI know its gaed ey have requested medicals for early June applicants. Am June 27th and still waiting. I think they do it in batches. Lets keep praying that it comes by next week.

It will come just stay positive and relax your mind ...i know it's hard wen waiting for medical and ppr not to talk pum. All good just patient we all need in this process. One love house.
