So much good news this week for others. Congratulations.

I hate being the downer here with our refused app. His PR application sat for 10 months before they could tell us his visitor visa refusal was an issue. The concern was about a financial statement.

I found one glimmer of hope in the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act:

Misrepresentation
60 (3) No appeal may be made under subsection 63(1) in respect of a decision that was based on a finding of inadmissibility on the ground of misrepresentation, unless the foreign national in question is the sponsor’s spouse, common-law partner or child.​

I suppose the fact that I can appeal for my husband gives us hope. If he wasn't family, there would be no hope. I'm stepping out for awhile. I will come back to this forum weeks/months from now and hopefully have a happy story to share. Thanks for all the support and prayers. Good luck to the rest of you.

They haven't sent me email yet to this effect, just a call from Accra to confirm if I can travel before 7th of December which I said I need to consult with my spouse first before I can give conclusive answer and the lady said she will call back on Monday morning. Do I have course for concern?

Pls can you in any way send the number they called you with?... I've been calling the number on AVO website but its not going through

Can one decide to undergo medicals while the application is being processed? This is when you did not do upfront medicals but decide to do it after submission. I need some answers from forumites.

No, you can’t... AVO has to request for it. Upfront medicals stopped December 2016

Yall should go and pack and zoom off sharply.

You need Shenzhen transit visa of those countries or where you want to transi. Holland, Germany, italy, spain, Belgium, France etc. Check and see the airline you want to go with and they will arrange for your transit.

I swearrrrrr God shall prevail. We have encountered some difficulties during this time however I am optimistic that it will be a beautiful ending for all of us God knows through all the frustrations the greatest test was OUR PATIENCE ... ITS IS OUR TIME PPR FOR EVERYONE IN JESUS NAME OOO CAN I GET AN "AMEN"
