Hi guys!

I applied to my PR on September 22 as CEC and received my AOR the same day; I passed my MED on October 6th, and they requested my travel history again, I sent it on October 8th!
My background is still: we’ll let you know when we start your Background check; so they haven’t started it yet!

Can anybody help me in which stage I am?? How long is it taking to move to the next one??

Sorry I really don’t understand IP1, IP2, N/A

I appreciate your answers :)

It varies, but as CEC averaging out 100 or so days, i would just suggest to be patient at this stage...

Hi All,

Got my AOR on 2nd Sept'17 later been requested to submit background declaration form again on 2nd Oct. From there a week after Medical shown passed, My BG went to Not Applicable.

Yesterday i have received a new message in PR Appl with subject HOW TO FIND JOB IN CANADA and contents as below; though there was no status change it has been the same for a month now; Did anyone had this kind ?

Congratulations. You are now a candidate for immigration to Canada.

You should think about how you will find a job in your field if you become permanent resident. Starting now will give you and your family members the best chance at finding a job that matches your skills, qualifications and work experience. You can research: • areas where workers in your field are in high demand, and • what is required for your job and similar jobs you might be interested in. In most cases, the things you need to find a job in Canada are different than for immigrating. This means you might need a new assessment of your education, skills, work experience and/or language skills to get a job in your field. Gather your documents before you come to Canada to make the process easier. For example: • degrees • school transcripts • proof of work history • employer references, etc. In Canada, some jobs are regulated to protect public health and safety. To work in a regulated job, you will need a licence or certificate from the regulatory body for your profession in the province or territory you want to live in. You may need to submit certain documents, upgrade your

Hi all, my BGS just changed from IP1 to NA2 and they do not need additional documents. Does it mean I have passed the PCC check? Would CIC ask again for another PCC later? The reason why i am asking this is because i was stuck in IP1 for 40+ days and I thought it was due to PCC but now it seems to have moved on to NA2, hence i am wondering if PCC stage is cleared for me. Any thoughts from anyone are much appreciated.. thanks in advance!

My timeline:
Stream: FSW outland, Singapore
AOR: -- Sep 20th, 2017
Medical passed: -- Sep 27th, 2017
ADR: Singapore PCC -- Sep 28th, 2017
Additional docs submitted (Singapore PCC): -- Oct 3rd
Background status: IP1 (Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check) -- Oct 3rd
Review of additional documents: "The additional documents you provided are being reviewed." -- Oct 3rd

Then wait wait and wait, until I:
--- ordered GCMS on Oct 27th and it changed to:

Review of add. documents: "We need more documents to continue processing your application, blablabla.." on 1st week of Nov

Then on Nov 13th it changed to below:
Review of addiional documents: we do not need additional documents.
Background status: Not Applicable

:(:(:(
