Hi Guys,

I have a question about Visa office for US Residents. I searched the forum but couldn't find much information about this. Can you anyone please share any knowledge or information about which Visa Office in USA process the applications of US residents?

Thanks,
HPS

For US applicants, the file initially goes to CIC Sydney (Sydney, Nova Scotia) and then it moves to CPC Ottawa. That's what happened with my case and I think this is the thumb rule.

This is IP2. Applicants with dependents usually get their PPR faster. I hope you're getting it soon. Good luck :)

Hi Guys,

I am a FSW Inland applicant. Got AOR on Aug 6th. I applied for PR through a representative. I want to know if there is any way to check our application status directly, without the help of representative. Please share if you know. Thanks in advance.

Well to be honest no one here can judge whats going on with your file or where exactly it is...plz be aware of the processing times ( 6 mnths not 3 mnths) and donot worry if nothing happens on the portal ....portal updates are not mandatory in each and every case....do not compare with other cases where people got Ppr...again each and every case is different...do read this thread of august Aor from frst page if you are intrested to know how things happen....meanwhile you have to wait even if 13 weeks are passed...
