Im currently a financial Advisor at Scotiabank and I got offered a position at Connor Clark & Lunn (Investment Management firm) as a Retail Portfolio Specialist. The salary is $50k/year which is $9k more than what I make now however my current role is skill level A. I am not too sure what the NOC code for this position is and whether It will count towards my PR application next year.

			Job Description
- Maintaining and reconciling client portfolio data; this involves connecting with external custodians as well as various areas within CC&L Private Capital and CC&L Funds Inc.
 - Maintaining system and client data (i.e., portfolio administration system, trade order management system, client reporting system).
 - Responding to ad hoc client portfolio queries from custodians and front office.
 - Coordinating account transfers between various custodians.
 - Performing trade input and monitoring as well as trade and portfolio reporting to the managers.
 - Providing trade support back up including trade updates as well as trade and wire confirmations.
 - Providing SMA trading back up including updating model portfolios and implementing model changes.
 - Data Management.
 
- At least two years of related working experience; experience in an institutional investment firm, bank or trust company is an asset.
 - Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
 - Exceptional attention to detail including sorting, filtering, and handling vast amounts of data.
 - Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills
 - Proven ability to think logically and problem solve effectively.
 - A positive attitude coupled with an interest for the investment industry.
 - Developed knowledge of investment accounts (RRSP, TFSA, RRIF, etc.).
 - Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure; dealing with changes and interruptions while maintaining strict deadlines
 - Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics
 - Completion of the Canadian Securities Course is an asset
