After sending passport, how long does CIC take to stamp the PR visa?

people whom passport was received by cic for visa stamping on october 10th or after please keep us updated with any update

Passports received by CIC on 10th October. Status changed to approved on CIC website today morning. Waiting for return tracker to get activated now.

Passport Delivered date in Ottawa - 16th Oct

So far no status change no communication. I reside in USA and I have a planned travel on Nov 11th to India for a festival. Not sure If I get my passport before that. Else I have to cancel my tickets and would be lot of cancellation charges. Is there any way we can expedite the Passport processing.

my Passport was also received on Oct 13, same here, no update. I believe they are finishing the people who sent on Oct 10th, I expect by this week we may receive an update.

My passport was received on October 10th. Got back from work today and checked my mail. Was pleasantly surprised to see the Canada post pre-paid envelope with my passport. I actually forgot to note down the tracking number for it so I couldn't track it. So happy. Thank you Jesus!

It's also weird that up till now the status on my express entry still shows the below :-

Application status We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you. Help - Application status
Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements. Help - Review of eligibility
Review of medical results You passed the medical exam. Help - Review of medical results

PPR received on 28th September
Passport sent on 29th September
Passport delivered on 03rd October as per Canada post tracker
Picked up and sent to printing room on 06th October as per CIC agent
Passport stamped on 19th October as per CIC agent
CIC account updated 23rd October
Return tracker activated 24th October
Passport / COPR received on 25th October

Did my landing on Sunday 29th October at Lansdowne Bridge, 1000 islands region . There was around 30 minutes wait time at the border due to sunday evening traffic . No wait at immigration inside and took about 20 minutes for the paper work , only some standard questions were asked with no additional documents requested. All in all it was a pleasant experience.

PS: they do landing all days of the week and no restrictions or quotas.

I sent them a mail already no response. My passport is with them and my flight is very close. 29days now avo received my passport and 15days approved on mycic.

Well we've excitedly hit this point in our PR process, so I guess it's time to join the thread:

Request for documents received on 27th October
Passport copies, photos, and address form sent on 30th October (we're from the USA)
Passport copies, photos, and address form delivered on 31st October per Canada post tracker

...and now we wait. Fingers crossed that we'll be one of the lucky ones with a quick turnaround. We've soft landed and are living in Ontario and would really like to make things official ASAP. Good luck everyone!

Passport sent – Oct 6
Passport delivered to Ottawa office – Oct 10
CIC account updated – Oct 27
Return tracker activated – Oct 30
Passport / COPR received – Oct 31.

Status changed to approved: 27 October 2018

Can any one let me know when I will get my passport back?

Same Situation. My application was approved also on Last Friday, 27 October.

BTW, did you received your passport or the Tracking Number is active?
