Baptism certificate

What is a baptism certificate? I belong to Sikhism and there is no such thing called baptism in our religion bt Canadian embassy is asking for one can anyone help me out with it ?

No birth certificate and baptism certificate is not the same thing. A baptism certificate is issued to Christians as part of a ceremony that constitutes the person as a member of the church.

You need to give more details as to what CIC needs from you and what exactly have they requested a baptism certificate for.

Thanks for the correction I guess what I meant to say was maybe a birth certificate would suffice then again maybe I am not sure what relevance a persons religion would be to apply for PR unless someone here could explain for my education. Maybe a refugee/persecution / H&C claim ?
