Perfect.
I have a UCI number on my VISIT Visa letter. It is of 8 digits (but with no hyphen). I can quote this number in my EE profile. Just another question, do I need to give the UCI number of my wife (which is originally for the old passport) in the EE profile in which I have mentioned the new particulars (new passport). Does it make much difference.
You should mention it. Surname change is a common thing. It will not change your UCI #.
In fact i would go further and say that if you dont mention it, it may be considered as withholding information / misrepresentation. And you dont want to do that.

Best of luck

Do you have a reason to believe PR will be approved when study permit wasn't?
Study permit was rejected because the visa officer felt that she won't leave the country after her education. With PR that is the case

It's valid for a year boss. So no need for a new one. The down side is that you will have to land by July so it may be worth considering getting new meds done.

Regards
Does the medical depend on country?
The one with I got is only valid for 6 months.
Got it from india

Does everyone need the employment verification letters? Should I be contacting my former employers now, or is it possible I won't need one? Also, does my husband need them if I am the primary applicant?

If you are claiming points from previous employments you need to get the reference letters.

Same goes for your husband

No they don't. Perhaps they depend on the purpose. The ones for WP and for PR applications are valid for 1 year.

Interesting.
I inquired and came to know that the medical done for tourist visa is also valid for PR and they cost the same.

Donot know why the validity will be different

No, the last part is inaccurate. Only the primary applicant requires reference letters. If the spouse does not have Canadian experience they don't get any points so their experiences just goes into personal history where no evidence is required.

Husband's are required only if experience is in Canada and points are being claimed for that experience, otherwise there is no need.
What about the Foreign work experience points for spouse? Does that require no proof?

These points are only for the primary applicant, not the spouse. Spouse doesn't get any points for foreign work experience.

Got it.
Thanks. Got confused while reading on phone.
I and my wife had exactly the same CRS so we got all the documents prepared for both but ended up making me the primary applicant in the end.
That's why I have her reference letters as well
