As i mentioned earlier doing upfront was a risk due to some personal circumstances we had to risk

Paperbased applicant should do Upfront Medical, If EE can do, why not paperbased? Also by doing they will realize that paperbased also need to go, not only EE :mad:

That's good but I heard that visa date starts from the day medical has done. In that case, you will get short time to prepare for landing.

BUT HOW THEY WILL REACT ON YOUR ISSUE,BECAUSE IT IS PROHIBITED FOR PNP(OID),AND THE INTERESTING THING IS THEY HAVE WRITTEN PASSED. I WILL SAY YOU ARE LUCKY. BEST WISHES FOR YOUR UP COMING PPR AND REST WILL FOLLOW .

Is it written in cic website that paper based applicants should not do upfront MR ? i have written to sgvo i am planning for upfront medicals they with my reason they mentioned its upto applicants choice but they warned me that its risky as the medicas might expire before i land in canada due to delays in processing.

YOU CAN ARRANGE RE MEDICAL BEFORE EXPIRE.

There is a auto generated number in medical request . issued by CIC, Called IME , so without it very tough to complete examine and send. But some panel doctors are doing and CIC WELCOMED as you said, so best wishes .

The main point is that the "medical examination result may expire before landing" ; so they ought to provide PR & stamp visa as soon as within this date. we shall not sitting & waiting for 16 months, where as EE candidates can get PR in 6 months, what is the difference between EE & OID?? both are qualified thru 60 points but one have to have CIC profile, even though EE candidates qualify thru SINP point system, EE candidates upfront ME & Landing fee also ; they accept both & give decision within time. What else will be raised if ME expired?, maybe need some money to retake it !!

Any MR so far? I heard that one guy FT 03 May just got MR yesterday.

Yes Bangladeshi. I don't know him, he's a friend of my friend and he told my friend yesterday that he just got MR. He's SINP

As per I remember the person who gets MR on 17/10/2017 according to the spreadsheet, he did an upfront Medical Test. So, SGVO is doing nothing.

Okay, so huongsask said about that guy, maybe another one; he /she did not update in this google spreadsheet.
Thanks friend

No i don't think it's the Guy in the spreadsheet. This guy got MR from SGVO on this Friday 27.10.2017. He did not do upfront MR. I don't know him and don't know he has account in canadavisa or not but he's a friend of my friend :) and my friend is waiting for PPR and he's SINP then I think the infor is correct.

Also another guy (this guy I know) got ADR in mid-Oct and after submitting sufficient ADR, she got MR a few days ago. Her FT is end of Apr.

Another guy on the forum I followed got MR 23 Oct. His timeline as:
AOR 2nd Feb, 2017
File transfer 21st feb, 2017
MR 23rd Oct, 2017

It makes me hope that SGVO starts to process a new batch of MR for paper based.

Yes, if they could (your friends) updates their timeline in this spreadsheet, than we can get a picture of how SGVO is going.
I know many friends, who got FT in May09/2017, but still no MR.
Please send more updates on SGVO. It will help all of us.
