Hiya, I am in the same position as well - They asked for my driving history record as I reside in Australia... but apart from that it seems frozen :/
I was asked for proof of past travels (from expired passports) and PCC of Thailand as I worked there for more than 6 months. All these happened late July/early August. Since then, it has been quiet (other than change in document requirement and the fact that my application is at CPC Ottawa now). I guess, the more background investigation, the longer it takes. Plus, single/un-accompanying spouse applications are also taking longer. But these are all my personal speculation.

As the second half of December would be the holiday season and my 6 month-period ends on January 10, I would start worrying if I do not get any response or update by December 15.
So a friend of mine in toronto atm , he went through the same process however it was 6 months ago he told me after you medicals there is good 4 to 5 months of silence and after that things pace up real quick (1 month everything would be done) - also he said that if they are quiet its a good sign and that they are working on it.....

Not Requested for GCMS notes as of yet, planning to wait for 3-4 more weeks. London Office is people full of lazy bums, notes will not help me as it wont reduce the processing time but just reduce the curiosity built within. Any idea in how much time do they revert back with the notes once requested?
About 4 weeks

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I would request your valuable opinion on the peculiar situation I am right now.

It seems that my BG check is still at stuck at IP1 (since early august), the only thing that changed in the last 1 month or so is the review of additional documents. The current location however, is CPC Ottawa.

Shouldn't the BG status be then NA2 at least?

AOR July 10
Review of medical results You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents We do not need additional documents.
Background check Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.
Current location CPC Ottawa

Thanks in advance.
I was sensing that the good 3-4 months of silence from the CIC is about to end soon. As expected, there is a change in my dashboard! Unfortunately, not in the BGC!!! The review of additional documents changed to "The additional documents you provided, are being reviewed". They asked for Thai PCC post AOR as ADR, back in July and most probably are reviewing them now. This is for your FYI, the July AORs might be gearing up again.... lets hope for the best!
