Hello everyone,
Hope you are doing great. I am currently in US on h1b and trying to immigrate to Canada. i recently gave IELTS, created profile and scored 401. I am Mechanical Engineer. I am hoping to get NOI from Ontario. I read they give NOI for 400 and above score. Can anybody inform how soon they give NOI? Reason i am asking is i have my birthday in about 3 weeks and i will lose points on account of age. Any information would be helpful.
They are not issuing new NOI's for HCP Stream.

As on 10 OCT OINP has 594 nominations left.. They reopened Masters and closed it. PHD stream is still open.

I do have a strong feeling that once they fulfil the allocated quota for masters and PHD, remaining nominations shall be opened for HCP..

Let's hope ...

Hello friends,
I am forever indebted for your help and support. I finally got nominated. And a special thanks to Bill Hyatt.
Timeline:
NOI: June 23
Submitted: July 29
Assessment: August 04
ADR: August 24
ADR (sent): August 28
DIP: August 30
Nomination: October 14

@bill Hyatt: My CRS is 409, so ideally my total score after nomination should be 1009. However, my EE profile shows my score as 994. Can you please tell me why there is a difference of 15 points?

Congratulation for your Nominations.

The error can be due to two main reasons. Firstly, that it is simply a technical error as many faces it regularly and secondly, due to maximum points that can be awarded.

You may have claimed 15 points for sibling and then received Nomination giving you 600 points. However, maximum additional points that can be added are 600, not 615. Additional points include siblings points, French Language, Degree in Canada, Arranged Employment, and PN points.

If you think that the above doesn't apply to you and you should have received 600 points for Nominations then you can report the technical problem using your profile.

I hope this will help.

Thanks for the reply Bill. Yeah, you are correct. I have claimed 15 points towards my Canadian education. What do you think I should do now?

You can't do anything. You are automatically awarded maximum 600 points. Just wait for an ITA now and start preparing documents such as PCC, Medicals, Bank Statements, and others. This Wednesday you are expected to receive ITA. Good Luck.

Hello Everyone

It is my first time writing in this forum, even though I constantly watch other's posts because I applied for nomination this year. Yesterday I received my nomination. My timeline was like this :

CRS : 370
NOC : 2281
NOI : 29 June
Submitted : 4 August
ADR : 18 August (required to share ECA report from University of Toronto)
DIP : 29 August
Nominated : 13 October

So it took 70 days from the date of submission.

Just want to say that last year in November my Student Visa was refused twice, and I had no idea about what OINP is. So don't lose hope and keep working toward your dreams and a better world.

Thank you for your application to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) under the Express Entry Stream.

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program has assessed your Express Entry application to a positive decision. The Program is attempting to issue you a nomination through the Express Entry portal.

Your Express Entry profile E000813963 and Job Seeker Validation Code 3142 indicates a status of ‘no longer available for nomination’ in the Express Entry system. A status of “no longer available for nomination” means that the OINP is unable to issue you a nomination through the Express Entry system.

Please confirm within 24 hours, or as soon as possible, if you wish to accept Ontario’s nomination. If yes, you will be required to provide the from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) letter issued to you regarding your current or new Express Entry profile and 4 digit job seeker validation code.

The letter begins with the phrase “Thank you for submitting your Express Entry profile” and confirms both your Express Entry number and Job Seeker Validation Code. Please provide a copy of that letter.

If you have accepted an invitation to apply or another nomination, please notify us if you wish to withdraw you application to the OINP.

You can respond to this letter by reply email.

Please note that application fees are non-refundable if the OINP has already begun processing your application.

Regards,

What should i do in this please help me all the seniors member

Even I got nominated and received this mail ,post that there's another email asking to ignore.

Do we just need to accept the invitation in GCkey site or need to respond as well to the email

After accepting the invitation what are the next steps of actions/documents to gather..
