Hello guys, I have one year + experience under NOC B under CEC inland, currently waiting for invitation crs 419, I am loosing my job in about a month, can I apply for EI (employment insurance)? will it affect my pr application? please help me out. Thanks in advance
If there are few 1-week gap draws, then yes cut off will go below 426. But right now, I am predicting only a single 1-week gap draw till December 2017. If that happens, you may need to wait and see the trends next year based on the 2018 target. If the targets for 2018 are more than this year, you should expect the CRS cut off to reach below 426 early next year as they would increase the number of ITAs being issued per draw.
Abhishek, will crs cut off be 433 for the next draw? Am really tensed and losing my strength...
Please give us some hope

Hello Harry, which CPC office did you sent your passport to? I have sent mine to Ottawa today. But I have a scheduled trip on 6th Nov. Not sure whether i will get it back before that.
My VO was Ottawa but the PP was sent to NDVO India. The PP was returned to me stamped within 10 days. Really not sure how much time Ottawa will take but I am quite sure it will be less than 10 days.

With CRS 433, you would get an ITA in the next 3 draws. Please wait patiently. Do not lose hope!

Why are we expecting a 1-week draws on Nov 1 and Nov 8? any reasoning or just it feels good to think positive :)
Check the draw dates from August 2nd onwards.

August had 5 Wednesdays, so they had a draw on 1st, 2nd and 4th Wednesdays in August.
September, October and December have only 4 Wednesdays, they had a draw on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays in September.
So I am expecting October and December to follow the same pattern of draws (1st and 3rd Wednesdays).

November has 5 Wednesdays, so I am expecting draws to occur on 1st, 2nd and 4th Wednesdays. Hence, Nov 1 and Nov 8 should be the only remaining 1-week gap draws in 2017 based on the current draw trends.

Note: I am not associated with CIC, so cannot exactly tell what will happen. :)

Next Year targets will be available in March and next year implementation plans start from April. The targets will be relatively same however more streams will be included and newly added streams will be improved. In addition, more money is planned to be spent on Technology and making processes smoother and faster. More applications will be received through EE but total economic immigrants will not be changed much.

Now coming to the current situation. I have already presented current data much time in this forum which clearly shows that they are well above their targets and therefore the size of ITA's are expected to stay below 3,000.

In regards to rejections, it is the responsibility of Candidates to meet the IRCC requirements. I have also summarised most common reasons for rejections for applicants to read before applying. 99% of applicants who are rejected have made a mistake that is part of this report.
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/post-e-apr-process-and-common-reasons-for-rejection.510587/

The main target for IRCC at the moment is to complete backlogs before April when the 2018-19 plan is implemented and process applications faster. As the Nomination Quota is ending soon it may help score getting down between November-January, however, competition is expected to stay between candidates above 420.

I hope this will help.
Hello,

I always find your posts quite informative and that's why keep a close eye on what you post.

If you remember earlier this year you mentioned that crs might go below 400 and even touch 380s by end of this year, 2017.
I just want to know is there any chance of crs getting that low by next year as Iam quite hopeful.

Is there a way to track it? or you will know only through the Visa stamp.

If it is getting late how can I expedite it? will CSE is helpful?

Hello guys! :)

Been back here after 5 draws :)

Been running pillar to post after my ITA especially for the Indian PCC

Anyways, all good since I received my AOR yesterday. :)

If you think the wait to get an ITA is difficult. The wait after AOR is just unbearable. :)

Anyways here are some few tips:
1. Don't wait for your ITA to get your PCC done. Have an estimate of your CRS. If it is +/- 4 or 5, get the PCC done anyways.
2. Gather all documents except bank statement and the photograph.
3. Start believing in God. Cos when it tends to get difficult, in God you can find hope! :)

Anyways, my tidbits of wisdom is over for now. Hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I have enjoyed sharing it with you! :)

It depends on the size of ITA's and if they issue more ITA's then yes it can go down to 380 that is the mean score in CIC system. At the moment they are well ahead of targets and the size of ITA's is expected to stay below 3,000 and scores above 420.

In 2018, with new targets and back to back draws we can expect scores getting down quickly to below 420. Good Luck

IRCC usually releases plan in mid Oct to mid Nov. So for 2018 plans it will be released in next few weeks however they are not counted until the start of Jan 1.

Now the confusion is when people say plans will come out in November it doesn't mean it will be applicable immediately. It has been confirmed officially that these will be implemented between Jan 1 to Dec 31.

Now coming to those of PNP stream their quotas renews on Jan 1 and it is their choice how they want to use it and when to issue nominations during the year.

These are called Targets or Plans of IRCC or as some may refer as Quotas.

However, the actual report that include future strategies are presented in March and this is what helps you understand the real picture.

I hope this will clear your doubts.
Thanks Bill. Good to know this.
