Hi @IrenaIrena, Did you hear anything about your passport yet? Is your CIC status changed to approved? just curious thought I would ask. :)
Hope you are doing well.
Hey hey :)

Yes, it changed to Approved yesterday:cool:

According to the passport tracker, it takes them maximum 1 week to send back the passport after the Approval, so I am expecting it by the end of the next week for sure (I am thinking maybe Tuesday/Wednesday, but it will be Thanksgiving, so delays won't surprise me).

Can't wait to go home and see my family :) Hope all is well with you!

Haha!! Thanks, Well the words sound so glorious "Permanent Residents". About believing, nope haven't had the feel yet, maybe when I hold my stamped passport in my hands.
Thanks, I also hope to get some updates by next week. Have a good long weekend and share your experience of landing, I guess you are travelling outside from Toronto so shouldn't be much of a trouble. Good luck to you:)

No she didn’t get anything. I hired lawyer and he got all updates. They send me the confirmation mail and I forwarded it to my wife. She went to VFS office and submitted her passport and I send at Ottawa
okay i have sent an email to ottawa. however, they sent me an email with all my details and nearest visa office. but in the letter, there is not any mention of my wife name and her uci number. is it normal? or do i need to ask them for another one with her name and uci on it?

Congratulations! Did you apply separately or together? Is your wife a dependent applicant? If so then you both have to send the passports together as per my knowledge. You can't have two separate passport submissions on one application. So you will have to ask her to send her passport to you to submit along with yours.
heyy,
I did it together. Ya i could do that but it going to be too much hustle. there must be another way to do it. so that's the way i am looking for.

Don’t worry about it. They are only looking for UCI Number. Take the copy of that email, passport and pics. You’re good to go.

Hello.

Please I added my spouse a month ago to my application when I was on NA2 and afterwards it changed to IP2 same day. My background check saying we do not need any additional documents since then but I logged in today and notice my background checks says we need additional documents to continue processing your application but I haven't gotten an email till nor nor is there any new case holder for me to upload any new additional documents.

Kindly note this is same message I got when I wanted to add my spouse and after I uploaded all necessary documents for my spouse then it changed to we do not need any additional documents. Now I do not know the reason for this as I have uploaded all the documents previously asked to love relationship like PCC, pictures, medicAls etc,

Please any ideas on why this happened now?

You too, and will do!
Yes, once I get my passport, I'll fly home to Ukraine, and then when coming back will do the landing at Pearson airport :) speaking of passports - got a delivery notice today from Canada Post, so my passport is already at the Post office, will pick it up tomorrow :)

Happy Thanksgiving!! :)
