All that holds true for express entry not for QSWP...

Did you know that in 2015 processing time for QSW was 6 months same as EE? I know many QSW applicants who got DM in less than 6 months. As from early 2016 the processing time changes to 12 months then 13 months. This was because many people applied umder QSW more than their target . So cic had to hold the remaining applications and process the following year hence thats when the backlog started up till now.
For EE their target is very high but fewer people or just the equivalent amount of people apply and are eligible. Thats why cic is able to maintain the initial 6 months for EE and not that for QSW.
So if CIC increases the target for QSW. Trust me the processing time will drop.[

Don't lose your hope. I read in a filipino forum, that her application was received Jan2017, AOR mar2017, started processing apr2017, rprf and mr apr2017, ppr may2017, landed Quebec june2017,. That's way too fast! They are really working on our applications. We just have to patiently wait and pray. Have a good day and happy midweek to all! God bless.

I know that we have not seen much movement in Sept. Just wanted to let everyone know that CIC is still working on applications. @sufgan ( App Received: 2nd Oct 2016, AOR: 26th Jan 2017) received a message from CIC on 2nd Oct to re-submit schedule-A. Not exactly the information we all are waiting for but still wanted to share.......

@sufgan got DM yesterday. He is still trying to figure out what to do with Schedule A request from CIC.

I received GCMS notes (ATIP/AIPRP)... I'm shocked. Basically they haven't done anything with my application but moved it from Sydney to Ottawa...

Criminality is usually based on PCC provided , Security is in-depth analysis conducted by CBSA/CSIS or affiliated agencies

Review of medical results. If you need a medical exam, a message with instructions will be sent to you
Before it said: Review of medical results: Passed. I sent my medicals in December of 2016 when they were requested. Does this mean I will have to do the medical exams again?
