I hear you. I submitted the consent form again on Friday. Hopefully get my notes in a day or two and see some movement on our file as well. We had decided that for sure by Dec he will have his PR and will be in Canada by mid Dec, but now its almost Oct and nothing has been done on our file since it got to the VO, at least as of Sep 14 nothing. So definitely getting anxious. it'll be a total of 6 months in a weeks time. It's so hard sometimes staying positive. Two Pakistani applicants from 2016 have received rejections in the last month. and not a single approval in Sep. :(

I know, Kinza. My spouse and I kinda hoping it will be before October end. Though we set these dates in our heads, each day seems longer. Wow, rejections!! Generally, spousal sponsorship has highest approval rating. It is 160th day for us. Hopefully soon! Good luck to you and your spouse!!

Yes we set these dates in our head also but the closer we get to it and see no momentum the harder it gets to stay positive. It was our 172nd day today. Thank you and good luck to you and your spouse also.

It is highly recommended that you send a physical copy of requested docs via mail to CIC if the upload option is not turned in your CIC Account. You can send the docs via web form too but at times it takes forever to process the docs when uploaded via web form.

Okay thanks I thought that may be the case - will do :)

Nope, none at all. I got my GCMS notes though!

I see the following under assessment (pg 2)

Eligibility- in progress
Criminality- passed
Medical- passed
Security- not started

Also, I see under eligibility (pg 6)

Eligibility- recommend passed

In notes, I read that "recommended waiver" and the relationship appears to be genuine.
Hey,

Hey,

How long did it take to get your GCM notes?

Hey guys, I haven't been on here in a month... I've been trying to keep myself distracted so time can go by faster haha
But anyways, today is officially 2 months since AOR2 and BGC still says "not applicable." And still waiting on GCMS notes...hope to get those soon. But ya other than that, not too much news to share lol

Wow. You waited 3 months, thats very long man. hatsoff to your patience.

May I know the country of your PA?

Thank you for the reply. Appreciate it.
I called the call center once a month and got very minimal, if any information. Patience definitely was not easy...throughout this whole process I felt so out of control and uncertain of the next steps. At the end of the day I just hoped the less I bothered them the more they would do work on my file and it seems to have paid off. PA is from US.
Best of luck to you, and hopefully everything comes through quickly from here on out.

I wonder if your statement might have some weight, i never ordered notes or anything and looks like all went well and rather quickly, i am noticing those who ordered notes might have a slight delay could it be because they take the file out of the pool to do notes or something ? Anyways i am sure soon april applicants will be all done.

Ness12, did you order GCMS notes? Have you submitted all docs such as pcc , schedule a, and pictures?

If you answer yes to both questions, you and I are in same boat. I read in other forums that for some of the people who have ordered GCMS the additional doc status has changed to more docs needed. Again I'm not sure of this pattern being the fact but it has happened to people who have possibly submitted everything they are supposed to including me.

I am waiting for an email or a note in GC key login but it has been more than 8 days and no real request. But I have to receive my notes by sep 21. I will create a case enquiry when I hit two weeks.

If your situation is similar to what I have described above, please let me know! Good luck!
Hi pnaran14 i recieved my gcms notes... hows your notes does any say positive results?

GCMS Notes says:

Hey, my background check says “not applicable” too !! Does that mean they haven’t started it yet?
