Passport return duration after TRV approval

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone applied for a TRV visa from Canada and got their passport back. I'm just curious to know about the duration because i have some travel plans soon. Any reply would be greatly appreciated. Thanks !

in may 2017, i landed july 2017

9.21 sent to CPP, 9.25 CPP received, still waiting the passport from CPP
