PR card enquiry

Hi guys,

So I "landed" in mid-july this year and until last week I haven't received my card yet.
Not sure about today yet because I have moved apartment and will be going back to visit my old place in the next few days to check the mailbox.

But....i've been reading about some people here who are able to to look up their PR card delivery status on their MyCIC account ? Can any of you inform me how ? I don't see any option for doing that currently.

According to this, you should have it by this week or next. Give it sometime for the post also.

You can link your PR application to your MyCIC account. Just click Link application to this account and use your uci and other information to link it.

I still haven't received it yet and have submitted an enquiry via the online webforms.

I was just wondering, if I'm viewing the linked application on table-view (from the main page of MyCIC) , the status says "submitted", ...but when i go into the application, where it says "background check, docs submitted etc etc." ...the application status says "your application is approved" , but I get a feeling that it hasn't ??? Can you guys tell me what the single source of truth is ?

That's weird... I have similar issue but I don't think it's a big deal. I've just linked my Permanent Residency Card application as well and this is what my Application details in that application says: (while in my original Permanent Residency application, everything is approved)


Application status: We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results: You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.
Review of additional documents: We do not need additional documents.
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics: We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check: Not applicable.
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
