Hi everyone, we got an email for an interview next week. We were only asked for my husband to bring a copy of a signed photo ID of the mother of his son, and passport photos of his son. His son is non accompanying.

We will be busy preparing for this. Please pray for us. Congrats to @umuchima .

Im sorry to take the house back but alot of terminologies are alien to me considering ive been on the forum for a while. AOR/ ECAS/ 3rd line. Whew! I feel ive been forgotten

AOR - Acknowledgement of Receipt
I don't know the full meaning of ECAS to be honest but it's a link that is supposed to let you know the status of your application. Here's the link https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/
"3rd line" is also seen on your ECAS. Apparently, it signifies when the PA's application began processing.

This is far better than the silence. At least you know they are on your file and most importantly not in thought of your relationship. In my view it is good news and be rest assured that the whole house will be behind you in prayers as you have been to everyone of us.

Thank you to everyone. Although we all don't know each other personally we all have become friends and supporters of one another. And I just want to say how much I appreciate the love, support, prayers from everyone. This experience has tested us all more than we will ever know and I pray with all my might that PPR lays ahead of us this week. I know this is the universe just testing our patience and our ability to perservere through diversity. I feel as if I'm on the edge and hopefully soon will be able to jump into happiness and the next stage of our lives. Thank you again. Much love and prayers to you all.

Nope. It's a waiting game every step of the way. I guess I can say it's not over until the day I pick my family up at the airport.

Sorry guys to interfere, but when you listen to the automated message while calling it does indeed say September 9 2016...But for applications IN Canada (for inland!). There is no info for processing info for outland timing. Correct me if I am wrong. Please don't get stressed.

PS- These people are too much! This is not fair. What if your husband and his son's mom were not on good terms and she refuses to give him the ID? She's not the one applying for anything, nor is she a dependant. I know if someone asked me for my ID, i'd look at them "corner eye." I'm not saying that's the situation for you @becos, but these guys are only doing this to us 'cos they know they can get away with it.
