Hey everyone, so i was wondering, seeing as we have the interview date now all the way in November, do you think it's wise to book the flight now for a couple days after? What do you think?

Does anyone know who to contact when your mailing address has changed?

As in a flight for your husband to Canada ? I really do not think so as there is no way to know the outcome of the interview. They might not return his passport the same day. I wouldn't purchase without knowing the outcome.

I was able to update mine on line. I googled it and found a link to do that.

I'm wondering the same thing. My interview is next month. I see some well priced tickets, but dont know if they'll give him the visa on the spot or if he'll have to wait.

Lawks .... I'm super happy for all the new releasing of interview dates....keeping my fingers cross i will hear something very soon for my husband...we submitted our application February 17th! Goodluck everyone with upcoming interviews!!!

Is there anyway you could share that link hun?

Congratulations everyone, this is exciting news!! I guess long gone are the days when you simply got a Passport Request without interview. I guess we should start discussing interview questions and prep our spouses. My hubby is thoroughly annoyed that he has to "practice" interview questions.

Since there was such a good sale when I booked my flight, I booked my husbands as well... with hopeful optimism. :) Worst case scenario, we have to cancel and loose a little but get some credit to be saved for when he does get his visa- but for me it seemed more cost effective than waiting till right after the interview to book.

Congrats on all the interviews. At the interview, is it only in Kingston and for the spouse or do we (the sponsors) get interviewed as well? sorry if this is a silly question

You know, I have actually read of some instances where when they knew the sponsor was there, they would bring the sponsor in to ask a few questions... I can't recall if I read this in the old Kingston thread or if it was other visa offices... but there is always a chance they could/would.

Hook me up with your ticket agent nuh plz looking a ticket for december my gawd them expensive

:D December is atrocious! It's criminal how much they charge people that time of year. They're seriously expensive enough to have to take out a second mortgage.
