Guys,

After a loooong, LOOONG LOOOONG wait, I finally got the golden e-mail yesterday. It arrived at 9:00 PM, which I found so strange but no complaint here! Thank you all for your comments and replies on this forum, without you I think I would have gone crazy from all the waiting.

My timeline is as follows:

Congratulations man!! You will most probably get your COPR in 10-15 days. When are you planning to land BTW? I heard that Oct to Dec is not the right time to find jobs not sure how true it is. Any idea about it? Coz I am planning to land in mid Dec.
I have heard this too! But, as per my thinking, reach there ASAP, do all the hard work in getting a job and if you are lucky then you will definitely get a job in winters too and than you can plan a holiday in next summer. ;)

Hi guys, need your insights...I have sent our passports to the VO New Delhi for stamping on the 30th Aug 2017 through VFS. We got a mail today from VFS stating the below lines:

"Dear applicant, Mail to the Applicant passport is Outscan from Embassy and you will receive the passport through courier if opt for courier if applicant want to collect through courier or Counter if applicant want to collect from counter. Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email."

According to my understanding this states that our passports has been dispatched from New Delhi. But there is no update in our MyCic account.

Can someone please explain the situation.

Thanks in advance.

Hey Teeman, when did CIO finally transfer your file to LVO? Did you call or mail to confirm? Hopefully, they will wake up from their slumber when shipload of applications currently lying at the CIO is shipped to them. All the best bro.

Hi,
We applied for the PR in June.
As per the normal processing times (61 days), the application should've moved ahead by now (it's already 77 days past), but the status says "We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you." and "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements".
Can anyone suggest - if the processing times are longer than published? Should we wait, or raise a review request?

Thanks,
TP

I think processing time is 6 month so you have 4 more month to wait.

@andy108 . Pls help me out here, my application has been transferred to local visa office. I have the following questions
1 Do you know if eligibility was done before forwarding it to the LVO?
2 What does the officer at the LVO do?
3 What are the chances of rejection at the LVO . Thank you

So what does your 'Background Check' and 'Additional Documents' say?
