Hey same here. 95 days since AOR and 31 days since IP2. Maybe you can email them to know your Visa Office.
I emailed them on 31st July and my BGC changed to IP2 on 1st Aug and got a standard reply on 3rd Aug.
Emailed again on 26th Aug and got the same standard reply on 29th Aug. They say IP2 to PPR is max 30 days. I so totally disagree!!!

The reply was 'our file is being processed at CPC Ottawa and is within regulatory timelines and cannot confirm when it will be ready for finalization' . Got the same reply both the times. Donno what they are doing since one month in IP2.

Its frustrating and unfair to see even August people getting their PPR . I am happy for them but guess even we deserve ours. 6 months timeline (regulatory timeline) should be applicable to everyone fairly!!!

@Lifehack if we keep digging into the reasons trust me we might get caught in the bureaucratic tussle saying so @singh_b I would urge to start a petition and let us know what help we can offer you.

I feel the same! Everytime I say something that I want to do it ends or starts with "when we get the PR" it's frustrating you can't make plans for the future if you don't know what's going to happen :(

Bro..the line always starts with a single dot..so let's start the petition and we'll keep posting the link or whatever email we have on every forum...and I believe people will definitely join it. Good luck to us.
 
I totally understand how you feel. I hate the helplessness we are feeling and it is hampering our daily life. We who are here obviously was trying to achieve something but suddenly there is no hope.

Don't worry it's the same with most of us...I'm also struck.
 
If you want us FSW to join knock me I can ask some of my fellows who are waiting more than or nearly 6 months.

I am firstly going to email Minister Ahmed about this matter, If I don't get any reply within few weeks then we can start petition?, or do you suggest to start petition straight away?
 
I am very carefully asking this. Can foreigners make formal petitions?
I believe only Canadian Citizens can make petitions. Not even PR.

People who applied after me or before me, getting "in process of background check"
Not getting any updates except medical is cleared its been and half months now.
stress level is very high:mad::confused:
