I just got an email, because I put in an enquiry asking about my application. They said it was returned with a letter of explanation. I have no idea why, because I followed everything to a T. Organized it all so well... but I'm wondering, do I need to pay the fee all over again? I just don't understand what could possibly be missing...
what email.did you use for.enquiry and what details.and infos you include to follow up your application?

Just ask them to look over your file, if there is any movement on your papers...if it is pending to be returned etc. I called many times and they gave me a temp number... and a couple hours later I got my aor
The agent told me wait for another week. I will definitely call them again. She didn't mention anything about the application to be returned. I hope not

Guys I received medical request today but still no request for PCC and schedule A.
Is this normal or I missed something or are they in hurry to approve our files:).

July 13 - Application sent
July 14 - Application received
Aug 18 - AOR
Aug 31 - Medical request

Any suggestions or anyone with the same scenario?

Sorry to hear that but at least its a kind of a temporary relieve from the stress of waiting for an answer.

I did the same, organized my documents based on the checklist order.I called them today heard it was returned and when I got home I found my application package in my mailbox, the letter said the checklist form should be the June/2017 version, as i submitted the the older version (Dec/2016).

In the checklist which i submitted they highlighted Country Specific Requirement, my spouse lives in Saudi Arabia and there are two forms which as of June/2017 must be included in the application, they also highlighted the PHOTO section saying the PA photos were not up to the required standards.

I'll submit the correct forms this time and let my spouse go to a different studio and have another photo done based on the standards required, then resubmit the application without paying additional fees because the application was returned not refused which means it hasn't been processed yet, if its processed and refused then you'll have to pay the $75 processing fee if you want to reapply.

I know its frustrating and time is a factor in that frustration yet i'm glad i haven't lost more than a month and a half. i'll remain optimistic until my spouse gets here. Good luck to all of you who got there AOR or and those who haven't yet.

Thank you, I am upset but we have been dealing with this whole thing for almost 4 years now, what is a couple months, ya know? I'm just trying to look on the bright side of it. I will wait for my application and fix what is wrong with it and send it back, and hope for the best again. How do I know if it is refused? They just said it was being returned and I can fix what is missing and resubmit.

I just linked the account and submitted Schedule A and letter explaining I can't upload a police certificate because of my country of residence (they send it directly to the embassy, I don't handle that). So my timeline is this:

July 26 - Application received
Sept 1 - AOR1
Sept 1 - Schedule A requested and submitted. Background check requested, explanation provided.

Good luck everyone!

It's s normal. Sometimes, you will get PCC request first and medical request after but it doesn't matter.
