I got this a few weeks after submission. I submitted an Australian police check but on further investigation the one I provided was issued by the state police and not the federal / national level.
So I've go ahead and applied for a police certificate from the Australian Federal Police and reapplied. My CRS is still 457.
Also, did you get all documents that apply to you?

- Traffic History (for residents of Queensland only)
- Full Licence History Search (for residents of Victoria only)
Usually for police certs you get rejected at IP1 stage, no?
Yes, as I do not reside in either Queensland or Victoria.
It never got fully reviewed according to the letter.
Anyway, I've already resubmitted a new profile in the hope that I'll get an ITA again. The police certificate seems to be the only reason it was rejected. All my other credentials like my medical, ECA, IELTS results are still valid.

I'm new to this but in my understanding, at IP1, they just check if the police certs are OK, so they don't fully review all documents.
Sorry to hear about your bad experience but if I may say, the fact you got this at the early stages of your application, is a good thing. At least you haven't waited 6 months to know about it and now you can apply again quickly. Good luck with that.
Yes, but that's not the problem. it's the issuing authority is the problem.
I wouldn't say it's bad. Definitely an annoyance but I guess I should have checked before submitting in the first place.
If I get rejected again then I won't bother applying a third time.

I have lived in NSW and have never resided in Queensland or Victoria hence I think i don't need any letter from Queensland or Victoria.
