Question regarding job contracts for OINP. I have never signed a contract for any job. All I have is offer letters. Is that sufficient?

Hello Friends,

My current application status is in DIP, since one week. My query is regards to collecting PR card and making payment. My brother lives in USA, is it acceptable to make payment of 550 CAD to process my application and later my brother collecting PR Card (making payment of 490 CAD for RPRF and 50 CAD for card) after landing in Canada?

Thanks in advance.
Hello All,

Can someone please help me on the query?

Thanks in advance.

Job offer letter is also considered as job contracts. You can send them along with any other document like promotion letter, appraisal letter etc., that proves that you have worked or working there.

Am not sure but, I don't understand what is stopping you from making payment directly yourself. Also, PR card will be issued to you once you complete your landing there and complete your documentation. If you need your brother to do it then I guess you have to issues an Authorization Letter and some attestations for the same. Man it'll much more complicated than you think!!

You have to wait until they will re-open the HCP stream and start accepting new registrations. Also your NOI is valid for 6 months but make sure your papers are ready to submit once they will re-open and register the profile. You will only have 14 days once you register.

I GOT A REPLY EMAIL REGARDING HCP FROM ONTARIO IMMIGRATION THAT THEIR QUOTA FOR THIS YEAR IS COMPLETED
Please paste screenshot of that email.
As their official statement has been that the intake is closed at the moment, but they haven't specifically stated that ther quota for the year is already full.

Hi dear...
I m much worried about the fact that Ontario is sending a lot of nominations and this eventually reduces the chances of opening the province again in this year as only few places are left in filling their quota.
Dear @M DEV you shouldn't worry.

They're giving nominations to the people they sent the NOIs to. If it's true that their quota is full for the year (like one forum member said) then it doesn't matter how many people report getting the nomination. They already received the applications for their quota. They rarely make a refusal, and it is my guess that they wouldn't open the stream again for one or two refulsals.

Now, if they only have a temporary hold on the intake (like I believe) then, as soon as they resume resending NOIs, they'll accept new applications as well. So just keep updating the Ontairo PNP news page (Here: http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPNEW.html ) to be updated on the latest developments.

In any of these cases, it is not fruitful to stress yourself over things you cannot control.
I know, it's easier said than done. But we're here to support each other.
Best regards.
