Hi. Would really appreciate help from you guys here.
I got my AOR on 20 Apr 17 and paid the fee upfront. On June 24 I was asked to submit an additional document: Police Certificate from Sudan (since I was in the Military and went on a UN mission to Sudan). I submitted that document on 31 July and to this date there has been no update regarding my profile. This is how it reads:

Application Status: We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results: You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents: We do not need additional documents.
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics: We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

My background check hasn't even started yet. Its been over 125 days since my AOR and it seems to me as if my application is forgotten or something. I've tried contacting various offices and called the CIC number as well. I don't even know which office has my file and the number plays an automated message. Can someone please help me and guide me on this?

People.......I got my PPR message in myCIC account a little while ago. I am super elated and overwhelmed....:):):D:D It's been a stressful time this entire process but I am glad that a big part of the application process is over now and I have been successful. Yipee!!!!
I don't recollect the last I had a normal heart rate:p in the past 9 months ever since the IELTS prep began.

I wanna thank @legalfalcon for his advice on so many occasions. Captain @johnsyk ,my AOR buddies @infinix @hope_faith for always keeping the hope alive. And to all who have kept my sanity reasonably rational on this forum..u may or may not know who you are.. Thanks a ton!

Your additional security checks were going on it will take time , sometimes it will take 6 months. i think
 
Hello Seniors,

I am currently in toronto on TRV valid for 4 more months and my family's back home.

RPRF fees paid upfront along with document submission

IELTS - 8.5 (CLB10), NOC - "A"
CRS - 456,
ITA - May 9, 2017
AOR - May 30, 2017
UCI generation and Meds passed - 6th July
BGC- IP1 7th July
BGC- NA 23rd July
Additional docs under review - 6th August
Additional docs uploaded - 18th August
Additional docs not needed - 23rd August
Final decision - Under process

I ordered my GCMS notes on 8th August and called them up on 18th- The agent on the line said, Eligibility has been cleared and so has the meds, Background and Criminality and the only thing left is Security, which'll take a couple of days.

Never travelled outside India, never travelled outside city.

The problem is that my BGC is stuck at
NA, didn't monitor it very closely so can't say if this is NA1 or NA2 and I wonder if someone can help me figure out how much longer will I have to wait before PPR.

Well I feel any update is a good thing.. it shows someone is working on your file. As for the visa office, I guess your application will be finished in Ottawa

Awesome sauce..!!! That's good news.Your PPR might just come in tomorrow or Saturday. You never know.
 
Congrats @johnsyk for your PPR. You merited all the happiness it brings. I remember how stressed you were along this journey, but it all ended in praise.

Hey PPR buddy:p:D...we got it on the same day.Hurray!!!!!!! Super happy for u.That day is here. I just told u 10 mins ago when u updated that u are in IP2 that you might get it tomorrow and CIC did us one day better.
