Hello,

I am a canadian citizen but my husband isn't and currently working on the immigration papers.

I want to ask about the additional family information form..

1 should I fill in my information under spouse (since I am the spouse and sponser for my husband the principal applicant)?

2 how bout our children (we have two who are both canadian citizens as well)?

3 is filling I the information of his parents and sisters and brothers important even though they haven't and not planning to move to canada?
And if we are not sure about the date of birth can we keep it empty?

1. the sponsor does not fill in the additional family information. They know who you are.

2. The children are Yours and not dependent - like I said the sponsor does not fill this in so the kids don't either.

3. Yes, this is important. The parents and family requested of the applicant has to be filled out even if they are not moving to Canada also.

I would say do not leave any dates of birth blank. Whose birth date are you referring to? If it is not something that can be confirmed by legal documents, you may want to just put a "close as possible date". For blank spaces, we put N/A. I am not sure if others can confirm this, but I seem to recall our immigration consultant saying this is what you should fill in blank spaces with.
