+1(514) 937-9445 or Toll-free (Canada & US) +1 (888) 947-9445
This is interesting. Does my sponsor need to submit the request? It says "only Canadian citizens, PRs, and persons present in Canada." Does he then submit on his behalf or information about my case file?
How do I know my "File number"?

I'm just trying to chat with an agent and confirm that so far our application is in order (like many in this thread seem to have successfully done and been reassured), but don't know how to reach a real person.

Have yet to receive request for medical, and no information about visa office or BGC or anything.

The sponsor can submit on principal applicatant's behalf as sponsors are either PRs or Canadians.

Principal applicant's file number can be found in AORs or in the account that was linked through GC Key Mycic login.

That's very short. Is the toll-free number 1-888-242-2100? I've been calling outside Canada 1-613-944-4000 with no luck.

There's an "Application Number" (is that the one?) and a "Unique Client Identifier."
The application number is the file number. I am in Canada so I dialed 1888 242 2100 and then the extensions stated above.

What does it mean when it says Recommend passed under Eligibility of PA? Thank you

I'm guessing that's on the GCKey account. It's the first time I'm hearing about it but looks like they just completed their review and the PA has passed the eligibility assessment.

It's GCMS notes. And yes they are recommending that the Visa Officer pass the PA on eligibility. My guess is its the CPC Mississauga peeps who make the recommendations.

It is stated on the notes. I received the notes this morning.
