Hey, all.... its time to leave the most beautiful city. My husband got a job in a reputed company, but unfortunately, he is placed at the US branch. Now we have to shift to the US by this month end. He is completely busy with the legal procedures. The complete responsibility regarding shifting of belongings is for me. And most importantly, we need to shift our car too. I was in search of movers in Toronto. And I got to know about a professional mover in Toronto. Are they good at their service? Any idea?

Does your company provide relocation funds? They may have a preferred moving company they work with.

I might ask the HR department or previous colleagues that have been relocated to the same US office. Otherwise I would try to stick with larger companies and would read lots of reviews. Also depends on your moving budget. It seems like the company may have given you a relocation budget.

As I mentionned identify a few of the larger well-established moving companies and get an estimate from them. Make sure you mention that you will be moving to the US. Read a lot of reviews just to make sure they Don't have a bad reputation. The issues tend to be with the smaller and less expensive movers. Don't feel comfortable recommending a particular company myself but a good Google search will identify the well-established companies.
