If we work for Canadian company in Canada and need to go for business trips outside Canada for few weeks in a year, will those days counted as out of Canada . Will this affect residency obligation?
It's unlikely they would be counted for residence. Part of the requirement to count time working for a Canadian business is that it is a full time assignment. Business trips would not fall under that description.
