Oh god 68 days. That's too longJust got my approval now. I got a three year PGWPthank goodness!
Timeline:
Date submitted: May 24
Confirmed: May 26
Total no. of days: 68 days
At least you got it Congratsits pretty normal to receive this email a few days after applying. it doesn't really mean anything though and there wont be any changes to your application. Its happened to a few people i know.

Yep. After you apply, you usually get a confirmation of submission. That's probably what it is.

But as I understand we talk about cic account shows "updated" not about email.
Maybe officer has opened his application by mistake?
when the officer opens your application, you account shows "updated", and then "approved" or "refused". but the email does not come until after the approval or rejection. they dont send emails when they open your application. hope this is clear.
Anyone could go to the border and get work permit there. It hardly takes 45 minutes to get work permit.Yep. After you apply, you usually get a confirmation of submission. That's probably what it is.
