Physical presence test day calculation

Hi,

I got married this year and moved on nonimmigrant visa to US a couple of months back. In the physical presence test, can I enter "visiting family as a reason' for my duration spent here for my citizenship application ?
Or should i say " Moved to US on Non-immigrant visa" for this time period.

Looks like your spouse's employment is the reason you are in the US. You can used that as the reason. Alternatively, you can use family reunion as the reason....

Length of absence is of paramount importance, reason absence is not, for now...
