Hey there, Me and my sister are permanent resident in canada and my mother lives in India and she has a severe Asthma and now we are thinking to call my mother to canada permanently.
Her Disease is not transferable and is not going to make any harm to others. so i'm looking for a guidance about the possibility in this situation.

Do either one of you actually meet income requirements over past 3 years to qualify to sponsor her? Only 1 of you can sponsor her with only a spouse as co-signer to meet income requirements. If so, you must first enter parents lottery in January and hope to be selected.

For her condition, it doesn't matter if it's transferable. They will assess her condition based on the cost to Canada's healthcare system. If it will cost approx $6500 per year to treat her condition after she becomes a PR, then her application could be rejected based on this.
