Any change is a sign of movement and is positive. However, to figure out what is happening just by the MyCIC status is impossible. If you have passed your medicals and your BGC status changed, then most likely you have passed R10, criminality and your eligibility should have started, or be about to start.

Yes, this would work. No need to show house. Get a gift deed from your father, and in the LoE mention that the money came from the sale of gold.

Hi drimm 17, have you medical exam status changed? Mine is like with BC status changed to "you application is in process. We will send you a message when we start your background check" but the medical status as "if a medical exam is required, a message with instructions will be sent to you for several days." This gets me worried. many tks.

ECA report display my name as: LAST NAME, First name + Middle Name.

For Express Entry, how should I enter my name in Given Names field?
Should it be:
Surname name = Last name and Given name = Middle Name + First Name (like what appears on my passport)
OR
should it be Surname = Last name and Given name = First Name + Middle Name (like what appears on my degrees)?

I've a somewhat similar situation. However in my case my "middle name" isn't really a middle name but my dad's name - in my country it's a routine practice to stick the father's name in between a person's first name and surname and call it "middle name".

Anyway, I got around it by simply dropping my dad's name in my EE profile - I stated only my first name (Given Name) and my last name (Surname).

I may write an LOE about this when I submit my PR application. I didn't have any issues so far when I applied for my OINP.

If my car loan and all my savings are from the same bank do I need to share my car loan info with CIC? If my savings minus the outstanding loan balance are less than 12k CAD would that be a problem? I can try to arrange a gift deed from family if it's necessary but I wouldn't want to do it if it's not needed

I have a question about the PoF requirement.

Does the required PoF needed to have been in my account at the time of submitting the EE profile?

Also, I am getting some funds as a gift from my dad. Can anyone provide me a template for the gift deed?

Hello @legalfalcon. I am in a strange situation and need your expert advice. I am really sorry for the long post.

I received my GCMS notes and the eligibility shows recommend interview. This is the last update made on 19/4/2017. After this there has been no activity in my file. And strange part is I have yet not received any mail or call for the interview. My application details are as below (today marks completion of 7 months). Presently my file is at NDVO.

AOR- 22/12/2016

Medicals passed- 7/1/2017

BG- not applicable

Employment verification call- 20/3/2017- Someone from NDVO called my employer but HR manager was not available and the person who received the call requested them to call after 2 hours. After that they immediately called me and started inquiring about my employment- position, duties, what am I doing right now (when I said I am in a meeting with client, she even asked the client name and what do they do and why have I come to meet them) salary details, how many employees are in the company and who all are in my team, owner name and many such questions. The call went on for approx. 20 mins.

Despite requesting them to call after 2 hrs, they again called my office within 30 mins but my HR manager was still not available. When she arrived, I told her about the calls and requested if she could try calling them. She tried but no one received the call

Called CIC- 29/4/2017- the agent told us my file is in NDVO and it shows recommend interview

While I was anxiously waiting for interview intimation from NDVO, I didn’t receive any mail or call from them

When I was close to completing 6 months, I decided to order GCMS notes on 19/6/2017. I sent email to CPC Ottawa and also raised CSE but no response.

After knowing that my file is still at NDVO which we got to know after speaking to CIC agent, I raised CSE to NDVO and wrote email on their direct email IDs. I got response to direct email on 15/7/2017 that my file is awaiting review from visa officer.

On 19/7/2017- I received my GCMS notes which reads as below

Eligibility- Recommend Interview

Security:
HIRV:
Criminality: Passed
Org Crime:
Medical: Passed
Misrepresentation:
Other Reqs:
Final:

Last update is on 19/4/2017- Where it says OFFICER'S REVIEW++++++++++++ File placed in interview queue. Applicant to be advised to bring all original educational docs to the interview.

It gives brief about my responses and then below it is written- Subject's education documents cannot be verified as Gujarat University and the college refused to provide any information.-- Subject was though not fluent in English but could speak and understand. (I don't understand why she felt my English was not fluent. I remember answering all her questions properly and I believe my English was decent)

I have uploaded ECA report which is equivalent to master's (MBA) and my IELTS scorecard- R-9, L-9, S-7.5, W-7.

If its from the same bank, you should declare the loan. It will not be a problem as long as you have enough available PoF.

NO.

First off, nothing to worry about if all your documents are in place and your application was true and accurate.

You will have to wait for an interview. The interview is a normal process and will not take more than 30-45 minutes during which the officer will ask you about your job, your education, see your documents, and have a conversation about your employment.

Usually as soon as the interview is over, you get the PPR.

Just gather all your documents that you submitted with your PR. These should be originals.

If your passport will be valid for less than 6 months, IRCC will not issue a PR visa on it. It is better that you renew your passport now and update it via CSE and send them the bio pages.

With reference to the above post, wouls i hav to change any PCC or any other document because of the passport change ?

When we get PPR request to send passport to Ottawa. But if we reply back to them to ask them to change our VO as we do not reside in canada anymore. How long does cic takes to transfer the file? As we have 30 days deadline so just worried. Does CIC will send out new details?

Only if your PCC mentions your passport number.
