Hello, what is the average number of pages of the whole application? I feel I might have send way too much stuff. All together it was almost 150 pages. Is that too much??

No that's fine, don't worry about it. Better too much than too little

Not sure with everytging but make sure youre sending ONLY what theyre asking for. Nothing more like extra pictures, more than 10 pages of chats etc. Only what they want

I recommend you to send photo in JPEG format with the specification mentioned in gckey account.

Just to update one of my friend spoke to an agent after me and he asked same as to which size to use in this type of situation. Agent told to follow the size as per request letter (50x70). So I'm thinking to mail them photos since there are no instructions on how to submit front & back in single upload tab.

We can scan both together but than meeting size & pixels requirement may be an issue.

He has a very complicated case .. if you know how to help him upload, then please, do. Mine was a simple case of inserting picx in a word document and upload it as a PDF .. if you read his specifications, it's really complicated unless you know how to help him out.

I am just asking him not to leave the upload link blank as it will look bad from his side .. that he missed uploading the picx, whereas he is sending them by mail .. i just want him to let the officers be aware that something is coming in the mail. they do give us three options in our request letter - mail, upload via webform or the gckey .. so i am telling him anything out of thin air ..

My spouse cleared the medical exam on June-26-2017 and no updates afterwards. The Background check column on the MyGC still stating "your app is in progress - will let you know when we start the process" - which I think is BG1 stage.
App Sent - May-02-2017
AOR 1 - May-4-2017
ACK from CIC - June 1st
Sponsor's eligibility cleared - June 9th - 2017
Request for Schedule A, Medical, PCC and voters ID - June 14- 2017
Medical done - June 22 - 2017
Schedule A, PCC and Voters ID submitted via Webform on June 24 - 2017
App sent to NDVO - June 23 - 2017
AOR 2 - June 26 -2017
Medical Passed - End of June or First week of July - 2017

And waiting and waiting - we were in US for more than 5 yrs - Also Schedule A is almost 6 pages long. is this the reason for slowing down the BG1 to BG2? Or is it because I have also applied for the proof of citizenship for my kid (born after I became the citizen)?

I called CIC today to see whats going on with my file as I didn't receive anything after AOR and it is been more than one week.
They said they are working on sponsor eligibility and will send other required documents only after it is done.
How much time does it take for sponsor eligibility to get approved ?

every case is different.. there is a backlog right now. you have to be patient this process requires a lot of patience... give them time to work the file you will go MONTHS with hearing nothing... a week is not bad at all

How did you submit your Schedule A and PCC through your online account BEFORE CIC requested it? How is that possible? The upload button wouldn't even be there before getting the formal request from CIC, right?

Also, when did you apply? That way we can tell if your husband not receiving his SA is still within the normal timeframe or not.
