Did you complete your studies within Canada? If so, when did you complete your studies?

Where did you complete it? (Which school?) Was it a full time program and were you studying under a study permit? When did you complete it?

Yeah. Full time course..Nova scotia community college... i have study permit...july 16th course ended

Then yes - it sounds like you qualify. You need to apply for the PGWP within 90 days of finishing your program and you need to ensure your study permit is still valid at the time you apply.

valid One year? Can i affter apply pr??

Yes - will be valid for one year. Not possible to say if you will be able to apply for PR - it depends if you meet the requirements of one of Canada's immigration programs.

Can i extend post work permit????

No. If you completed a 1 year course, you're only entitled to a 1 year PGWP.

If you want to work longer, you'll need to secure a full time job offer and approved LMIA from an employer (this tends to be very difficult to do).

Hi Dinusha,

Just wanted to ask you regarding Nova scotia community college waitlist. I have been waitlist for Fall 2017 for Diploma in Health Information management. Any idea by when I should expect admission confirmation? Since I need to apply for Study permit as well. Please let me know, Thanks.
