Comrads, my AOR was on May 15 - FSW-O.
Med passed - IP1-N/A was on June 28.
Today July 19 I have IP2!

Background check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Could it be the final sprint before PPR?
Congrats. Please put this timeline in your signature. Had you paid the RPRF Fees upfront or??

Those that have received PPR, do you see an email before you see any changes on you application? Is it worth me logging in to my application regularly or should I just wait for an email?

I read here only that:
- people got ppr with n/a status
- nxt step is IP2 if the current status is "WE DO NOT......"
Based on the points above I feel it is a step closer to IP2.
@johnsyk @gurik @KiranK @Wolverine17 - pls confirm . Thanks
Yeah you are right it is mostly a sign of IP2, but as @infinix has his RPRF pending, only CIC knows what is there in his case... for most other applicants its a sign of IP2 in line.

I believe it's just slow process. I think my eligibility hasn't been done that's why the RPRF is pending. I will wait it out till I heard from CIC. I don't think there is anything wrong with the file.

No no definitely nothing is wrong with your file, you interpreted my answer wrong. I think its a good sign for you also. CIC forgets sometimes to do stuff, they actually do. People have got PPR without RPRF request also. So its just a delay nothing else. I was referring your case to clarify that for some candidates it might happen soon also, thats it.

I met someone from CEC class yesterday at the VFS office in New Delhi and she got the PPR to be submitted in Ottawa. She mailed them and asked to change the VO to New Delhi. She did this because she not going back Canada for next 3-4 months.

As you already know that we have 31 days to submit the passport from PPR mail and your visit is only 2 weeks. You will still have enough time to submit the PPR in UAE.
You can submit in New Delhi also but how will you get the passport back, by the time it gets stamped you will get back to UAE.
I am just trying to plan my way out. I am changing my job and starting my new role on 6th August. Once i join I will have to submit my passport to new company for stamping the new work permit. that might take some time. However, all of this speculation depends on when i get my PPR.

Thanks for the input guys. I might have to cook some story with my new employer for delay in submitting my passport as I do not want them to know about Canada at this stage.
